The Fightback

'Why?' said Daara. 'Why did they vanish?'

'They will meet you soon, Daara,' said a pleasant masculine voice.

'Now follow me and listen.'

'I am sorry pratinidhi but I followed you,' said Karan.

'Why did you, Karan?' said Sairendri.

'To protect you,' said Karan. 'You were alone.'

'Fine,' said Sairendri. 'Now fight!!'

'Yes,' said Karan.

'Sairendri and Karan on the horses,' said Erica. 'Flank us and give us cover. Anthony stay behind us. Dwayne and Xavier on the left along with Karan. Beckett and Xander on the right along with Sairendri. Jay stay with Anthony and kill as many as you can. And Aditi with me.'

'Beast mode on,' said Sairendri.

'Naah!! Commander mode on,' said Erica.

'I like this Erica,' said Sairendri.

'So do I,' said Erica. 'Take positions everyone,' said Erica.

'Here take a shield empress,' said Aditi.

'Arrows incoming,' shouted Anthony.

Aditi, Erica, Sairendri, Karan and Jay had shields. They defended themselves. Jay took cover for Anthony. Xander, Dwayne, Beckett and Xavier warded off the arrows by spinning their weapons at high speeds. Xavier and Xander were expert at this skill. They had learnt this from their father. They used one handed middle posture for cutting the arrows. Both were ambidextrous. Thus were efficient in cutting arrows. Beckett and Xavier had moved a bit ahead of Xander and Dwayne respectively. Having weapons in both hands helped Beckett and Xavier to ward the arrows efficiently. Xavier had the best skill in warding off the arrows while Dwayne was the slowest. Thus, Dwayne was pierced by five arrows, Xander was pierced by four arrows and Beckett by two arrows. Others were unharmed.

Aditi shouted, 'Dwayne!!!'

'Stay focused,' said Erica. 'Trust me, he is safe.'

'Arrows have stopped,' said Beckett.

Anthony, Jay, Karan and Sairendri started to shower arrows. Anthony had a killer precision. Thirty-five fighters were on horseback while fifteen were on foot. Anthony pierced ten horseback fighters and each one of them had died while Jay was successful in piercing two of them. Karan pierced one horseback fighter and Sairendri pierced five of them. Jay drew his sword. Sairendri took her trident while Karan drew his battleaxe.

The m******e had just began. Erica pounched on her enemies like a lioness on her prey. She killed eight horseback fighters. She beheaded half of them while pierced the others in their heart. Aditi beheaded four fighters on foot and two horseback ones. Aditi was injured by two horseback soldiers. They had caused deep cuts on her shoulders. While Dwayne had killed two fighters on foot by cracking their skulls with his mace and injured four horseback ones. Xander had beheaded two fighters on foot and injured two horseback ones. Beckett pierced two horseback fighters in their necks. They both had died on spot. Beckett further beheaded two fighters on foot. Xavier beheaded two fighters on foot and two horseback fighters. Jay killed a fighter on foot. Anthony was still killing with arrows. He killed four of them. Two of them were are on foot and two of them were horseback fighters.

While Karan and Sairendri killed two horseback fighters each. In total 30 horseback fighters were dead. Each and every foot soldier was dead. Only five horseback soldiers were left who were badly injured. They were held captive. Dwayne and Jay dragged them back to Astralaya Bhavan and were thrown in a small room. Everyone had assembled in Xavier's room.

Xander and Xavier cleaned everyone's injuries with an antiseptic and then started to treat one by one. Erica was uninjured in the fight. Jay had the least injuries and was quickly treated by Xavier and Xander.

Jay said, 'I am going to interrogate the captives. Don't disturb me.'

Jay left and went to the small room and started his interrogation.

Jay said, 'So where is the king? Who is your leader?'

'I won't tell you,' said Yoddha fighter.

'You traitor!' said Jay.

He beheaded the four Yoddhas. Their was a human left. He frightened. He was shivering. Jay had tortured the Yoddhas before beheading them. He had cut off their fingers and toes one by one. They were shouting in pain but Jay didn't heed any mercy to them. He wanted answers which they didn't give. He pierced thier bodies with needles. The tip of the needle was dipped in a paste of herb which gave they a sensation of bee sting. They were howling with pain but didn't utter a word. Human was watching the Yoddhas in pain. He had never seen such a torture. Jay then asked them one last time to reveal information about the king. Whispering the name of the supreme god he beheaded them.

Jay said, 'May Supremo give them a better life.'

Human said, 'L....Leave...me.'

'Tell me everything you know,' said Jay. 'I will leave you alive.'

'P....Promise m..me,' said human.

'True Yoddhas never break promise,' said Jay. 'I promise you I will leave you alive.'

Back in Xavier's room, Anthony was treated of his cuts by Xander. Xavier had stitched the deep cuts on Aditi's shoulder.

Xavier said, 'I am sorry your highness but these marks will take time to leave. And also there will a scar left.'

'It is a proud moment to have a battle scar,' said Aditi.

'I will look at brother Dwayne's injuries,' said Xavier.

'Yes. Sure,' said Aditi.

Xavier had completely removed the arrowheads from Dwayne and Beckett's body. Their wounds were then quickly stitched by Xavier. He had given them painkillers to resist the pain. Xavier was quick and precise in his work. Xavier had treated both Dwayne and Beckett while Xander was treating Karan. Karan had minor cuts on his thigh and shoulder. Xander applied medicine and treated the wound with precision. He stitched the major cuts. He gave him painkillers. Xander winced with pain.

'Come here, Xander,' said Xavier. 'Let me treat you.'

'I am fine brother Xavier,' said Xander.

'No you ain't,' said Xavier. 'Come here let me treat you.'

'Here remove this arrowheads,' said Xander. 'Give painkillers first.'

'You will require anaesthesia,' said Xavier. 'The wounds are deep. You cannot resist the pain.'

Xavier gave Xander anaesthesia and then operated him. He removed the arrowheads and stitched the wounds. He treated the other cuts and wounds of Xander. He gave Dwayne, Beckett and Xander an antidote for infections. Erica arrived with Sairendri.

'Xavier why didn't you treat yourself,' said Erica.

'Mother I was treating others. They had some deep cuts and major injuries. So I treated them first. My injuries are very minor.'

Xander said, 'Let me treat the chief of Yoddhas.'

'You should have been under anaesthesia's effect,' said Xavier.

'I am awake now,' said Xander. 'What could I do? Let me treat..'

'No,' said Sairendri. 'Erica treated me. I had only a few cuts here and there. Xavier, how is my dear son Jay.'

'Oh!' said Xander. 'He absolutely fine. He left to interrogate the captives.'

'I will go to check on him,' said Sairendri.

'No!!' said Xavier. 'He told that he wanted to interrogate alone.'

'I understand,' said Sairendri.

'You are so sweet,' said Xander.

'Don't flirt,' said Erica.

'Its okay,' said Sairendri. 'Thank you for the compliment dear.'

'Mother do you even have expertise in medicine and physiology?' said Xavier.

'No!' said Erica. 'As a guru we are taught basics of each and every subject.'

'That's great,' said Xavier.

'The organization is headed by a half human and half Yoddha. We don't know about her. She maintains her secrecy,' said human.

'What is their motive?' asked Jay.

'They want the human rule to end. They believe that once it ends, all races will end and only hybrids will exist. They believe in Fuerher.'

'You mean Fuerher, the god who allowed mating among the races,' said Jay.

'Yes,' said the human.

'You all are hybrids?' asked Jay.

'Yes, most of them are half humans and half Yoddhas,' said the human.

'You are?...' said Jay.

'My mother is a Yodha and father is a human,' said the hybrid.

'What about that Mandha guy?' said Jay.

'He is of rare type,' said the hybrid. 'Simphox is son of Mandha princess and a Yoddha.'

'Where are your leaders?' asked Jay.

'They are in the palace,' said the hybrid

'Name of your organization?' said Jay.

'Hyrefid,' said the hybrid.

'What?' said Jay.

'HYbrid REvolution For IDentity,' said the hybrid.

'Are you really fighting for your identity?' said Jay. 'You are literally killing people. No one will acknowledge your identity if you kill. You must fight for your rights.'

'It all started by protesting evil activites against hybrids,' said the hybrid. 'We were fighting for our rights. But then about two hundred and fifty years ago the then emperor of Sech known as Damein waged a war against hybrids. He killed all our leaders. They were not buried or burnt. He ordered that the flesh of the hybrids should be thrown for scavengers because they should treated like animals. Remaining who surrendered were butchered and the escaped were hunted. Damein created hall of honours were he used maintain the record of hybrids. Now it is known as Damein hall of honours. It is in Southerland. Still every alive. Fifty years back madamé fuehrer arrived she again formed  the organisation and renamed it as Hybrid Revolution and called the organisation as HYRE.'

'What happened in the past is wrong,' said Jay. 'I condemn it. But what you are doing is also not right.'

'What should we do then? Why are we still treated as slaves? Why are we denied higher posts? Is it our mistake that we are hybrids? We are born because their is interracial mating. If you hate us then why don't you ban interracial mating? No! You won't do that. You know why? Because you like to f*ck interracially.'

'Queen Swarada is a hybrid,' said Jay. 'She is given the post of queen of Astralaya.'

'SHE IS THE ONLY EXCEPTION,' said the hybrid.

'Society needs time,' said Jay. 'Emperor Manu strived for your rights. His son Beckett is also a good soul. He will give you, your rights.'

'It's too late now,' said the hybrid.

'Where are the soldiers of Astralaya? Where are the remaining Yoddhas?' asked Jay.

'Twenty thousand human soldiers of Astralaya are either killed or thrown in jail. All one thousand Yoddhas are killed. Each one of them.'

'You b*stard!!!!' shouted Jay.

'Some of them are held captive in the palace,' said hybrid.

'How many?'

'About eighty,' said hybrid. 'Go, save your king. He is in the palace itself.'

'You are a good soul,' said Jay.

'Don't trust anyone,' said hybrid.

'I won't,' said Jay.

Jay drew his sword and cut the hybrid's arms and legs.

Jay said, 'I don't trust anyone. I fulfilled my promise. You will live.'

'C...Clever,' said the hybrid.

'Xavier!!!!!' shouted Jay. 'Xavier!!!Xavier!!!'

Erica and Xander treated Xavier. Xavier had some cuts but he had already taken medicine for it, only dressing and stitches of the wounds was left.

'Xavier, Jay is calling you,' said Beckett.

'Xander get my medical kit,' said Xavier.

'Yes,' said Xander.

Xavier went to the small room and saw the horrific scene.

'Jay!' said Xavier. 'This is a malpractice. You can't torture someone to death. Why have you severed this guy's arms and legs?'

'Xavier,' said Jay. 'You don't know about interrogation. Please look at this severed guy. Treat him. He must stay alive.'

'But living such a life is a hell,' said Xavier. 'Are you sure?'

'Yes,' said the hybrid. 'Keep me alive. Fulfil this Yoddha's promise.'

Xavier treated the hybrid. He cleaned the wounds with an antiseptic and then sealed it with stitches. Then he covered the wound with a bandage. He then performed one of many complex medical procedures and gave him an antidote for infections.

'This your stay, Daara,' said the pleasant masculine voice. 'I take your leave.'

'Yes,' said Daara.

'Where are you, Sophia?'
