Siege

'It's a dream,' said a pleasant masculine voice.

'Dream?'

'I was answering, Sophia,' said Daara. 'But I heard a conversation of Dwayne and Aditi. I don't understand the conversation. They were squabbling. It appeared as if Dwayne had done a mistake and broke the trust of Aditi.'

'What about Sophia?' said a pleasant masculine voice.

'I really forgot about my breakfast,' said Daara. 'I didn't lie. It was a  genuine mistake.'

'You have to answer, Sophia,' said a pleasant masculine voice.

'True,' said Daara. 'I will apologise to her for my mistake. What about Dwayne and Aditi?'

'You will come to know about it,' said a pleasant masculine voice.

'Further.....'

'They want to ascend the throne of Astralaya,' said Erica.

'How is that possible?' said Aditi.

'If they publicly kill you and your father then they can ascend the throne,' said Sairendri.

'But won't queen Swarada get hold over the power,' said Anthony.

'No,' said Jay. 'She is a hybrid. There is a rule in Sech that hybrids can't acquire any power or position.'

'How did she become the queen of Astralaya?' asked Xander.

'She is not officiated as queen of Astralaya,' said Jay. She is called as queen because she is the only wife of the king.'

'Maybe someone from minister's council or military are revolting against king Mahadev,' said Anthony.

'Or someone wants to usurp the throne of Astralaya,' said Beckett.

'No!' said Aditi. 'Nobody from the minister's council could have done that,' said Aditi.

'Why do you think so?' said Dwayne.

'It is completely comprised of Yoddhas,' said Aditi.

'What about military?' said Dwayne.

'It is also completely comprised of Yoddhas,' said Aditi.

'Why did king Mahadev do so?' said Erica.

'After mother's death, father had lost trust on humans,' said Aditi. 'He dismissed all his human council members and military chiefs and commanders.'

'How are you so sure that Yoddhas might not have revolted,' said Xavier. 'I am sorry chief of Yoddhas and Jay but having all positions of power they might have agreed on killing the king and usurping the throne. They might have discussed and come to one stand.'

'No,' said Jay. 'Yoddhas don't break promise. We had long back promised that we won't acquire throne and always protect and guide humans.'

'What about the attack on us?' said Dwayne. 'There were Yoddhas too.'

'They were hybrids,' said Erica. 'Half human and half Yoddhas.'

'How did you know, gurumatha?' said Jay.

'Simphox is a hybrid,' said Erica. 'So I assumed that the attackers were hybrids.'

'We are fighting an invisible enemy,' said Sairendri.

'Our siege on the palace will provide us the answers,' said Anthony.

'Go, take rest. We will gather early morning.'

'Aditi have you got us horses,' said Sairendri.

'We needed eight, right?' said Aditi.

'Yes,' said Erica.

'I have only got us six,' said Aditi.

'Such a prosperous kingdom and only six horses,' said Xavier.

'All the horses are kept nearby the palace,' said Jay. 'We are lucky that we found atleast six.'

'Its okay,' said Aditi. 'I will adjust.'

'I can ride with, Aditi,' said Dwayne with a big smile on his face. 'If she has no problem to ride with me.'

'I will ride with you,' said, winking Aditi.

'Jay,' said Sairendri. 'Would you like to ride with me?'

'No,' said Jay. 'I have got my horse. I will ride on it. It is a bit stubborn and won't let anybody ride it.'

'Sairendri,' said Xander. 'If you don't have problem then I can ride with you.'

'Sure,' said Sairendri. 'We will ride together.'

'That's great,' said Xander. 'I will get to ride with you.'

'Leave,' said Erica. 'Take rest. We would need energetic warriors tomorrow.'

'Check your supplies everyone,' said Jay.

Anthony sharpened his arrows and slept in his room. Xavier and Jay had a conversation about Jay's health and then retreated to their respective rooms. Beckett stayed back in Erica's room.

'What is the matter, my dear son?' said Beckett.

'I know you can't answer our questions,' said Beckett. 'But thank you for sacrificing your beautiful life for us.'

'Come here,' said Erica. 'Sit besides me.'

'What is it mother?' said Beckett.

'I have been very harsh and neglecting towards you and Dwayne,' said Erica. 'I am really sorry for it. But you will understand the reason.'

'Yes mother,' said Beckett. 'We love you.'

'I love you dear,' said Erica. 'Now go have some rest.'

'Yes mother,' said Beckett.

Dwayne and Aditi were in Aditi's room.

Aditi said, 'I feel a bit frightened.'

'Everything will be fine dear,' said Dwayne.

'I hope so,' said Aditi. 'I just hope father should be alive. He should not be hurt.'

'Hope for the best,' said Dwayne. 'Promise me you will not risk your life.'

'We are already risking our lives,' said Aditi. 'For me it is my responsibility. But why are you and your brothers fighting for us.'

'Father had told us to help each and everyone who is in trouble,' said Dwayne. 'We believe it truly. Your kingdom is in trouble. We will save your father and you're kingdom.'

'That's sweet of you,' said Aditi.

'Now, promise me,' said Dwayne.

'I can't promise you my life,' said Aditi. 'My life is dedicated to Astralaya. If I have to give my life for its safety then I won't think twice, Dwayne.'

'Okay,' said Dwayne. 'I respect your decision. But try to not kill yourself.'

'I will try,' said, laughing Aditi. 'Now, come give me a hug idiot.'

'Sure,' said Dwayne.

'Its enough Dwayne,' said Aditi. 'Now go have some rest.'

'That's it,' said Dwayne. 'I thought we could spend some quality time.'

'Yes,' said Aditi. 'We are going to spend quality time tonight by sleeping.'

'Together!' said Dwayne.

'Alone!!' said Aditi. 'Now, leave.'

'Okay,' said, sad Dwayne.

'Cheer up big boy,' said Aditi. 'We have a battle to win.'

'May I enter, chief of Yoddhas,' said Xander.

'Yes sweetheart,' said Sairendri. 'How did I become Yoddhas chief?'

'What?' said Xander.

'You used to call me by my name,' said Sairendri.

'Oh!' said Xander. 'I thought you didn't like it.'

'It was after long time someone addressed me with my name,' said Sairendri. 'Your mother used to call me by my name. Now you do the same.'

'You like when I call you Sairendri?' said Xander.

'I don't know, maybe yes,' said Sairendri.

'Okay,' said Xander.

'Why are you?' said Sairendri.

'I don't know,' said Xander. 'There is no particular reason. I just wanted to meet you.'

'You like me?' said Sairendri.

'Maybe,' said Xander. 'Who would not be impressed by your figure?'

'What is your age kid?' said, suprised Sairendri.

'I will turn nineteen next month,' said Xander.

'You are younger than my grandson,' said Sairendri. 'You are almost two hundred years younger than me.'

'No,' said Xander. 'I am just 189 years younger than you.'

'What?' said, suprised Sairendri.

'Look it at my perspective,' said Xander. 'Average lifespan of Yoddhas is three hundred years. Humans have an average life span of hundred years. Thus we both have approximately only hundred years to live.'

'According to your calculations I have 93 years and you have 81 years left,' said Sairendri. 'So I will still live longer than you.'

'Now, leave this number game,' said Xander.

'So what do you want?' said Sairendri.

'Whatever you intend to give,' said Xander.

'Your not even grown into a proper man,' said Sairendri. 'See at your beard growth. It is so sparse. You hardly have a beard.'

'So,' said Xander.

'Child come back when you are a grown up adult,' said Sairendri.

'You haven't seen my adult side yet,' said Xander.

Xander came close to Sairendri and hugged her tight. He kissed her. Sairendri deepened the kiss. Xander held waist tightly and kneaded her large breasts.

'So,' whispered Xander. 'Am I not an adult?'

'I...I don't know,' said Sairendri.

'I will come back when you acknowledge me as an adult,' said Xander.

'No!' said Sairendri. 'Don't leave me like this.'

'I will come back as an adult,' said Xander.

'Naughty boy,' said Sairendri.

'Have a sexy night,' said Xander.

'Moron,' said, laughing Sairendri.

Next day, early morning all of them had assembled in Erica's room. Everyone carried the same weapons that they had carried in their last battle near the Bhavan.

Sairendri was carrying more arrows than usual.

Xavier said, 'Here everyone apply this oil. It has medicinal properties. If you get any cuts then it would help in quick healing. Also if someone gets caught by the enemies then you this oil will help you to escape from their clutches.'

'How is that possible?' said Dwayne.

'If they try to catch you by their bare hands then they will not get proper grip as the oil will make your body slippery. Your highness ensure that you put loads of oil on your body. Brother Dwayne please help her out.'

'But I am wearing full body armour,' said Aditi.

'You can apply it on your armour,' said Xavier. 'This oil will do its work.'

'Fine,' said Aditi.

They reached near the palace through a secret route. They tied the horses and left on foot. When the palace was visible,

'Wait,' said Aditi.

'What is the matter?' said Dwayne.

'Jay, you told our soldiers are in prison,' said Aditi.

'Yes,' said Jay.

'I know a secret route to the prison,' said Aditi. 'We could divert the attention of the remaining hybrids towards the prison.'

'Our siege will become easy,' said Xander.

'Once we free our soldiers then emergency message will be sent to the palace and all the hybrids have to come to the prison,' said Aditi.

'Then we could attack on the palace and free king Mahadev,' said Xander.

'Good,' said Erica. 'Who knows about this secret route?'

'Only I know this secret route,' said Aditi. I built this secret route along with Lord Savlin and other Forgs. Nobody knows about this route. Even father doesn't know that an alternate route exists for the prison. I will guide us through the secret route.'

'Then why didn't we ask the Forgs for help,' said Anthony.

'They are great architects and craftsmen,' said Xander. 'They are not warriors.'

Aditi took them through the woods and stopped near a closed cave. She pressed a hidden button in the bushes and a cave route was visible. A large stone had covered the entry which on pressing of the button sided and revealed an entry which was just enough for a human to enter. It was a very small entry. Dwayne had to squeeze through the entry. Xavier and Xander had prepared torches. Xander had found flintstones and

Xavier had found a particular bush whose leaves were used to ignite a fire. Dwayne and Anthony brought wooden sticks required to prepare torches. Xander prepared two torches using sticks, leaves and vines. Xander spread some liquid over the torch's upper part.

'You would require some fabric,' said Jay.

'Brother Xavier found a tree which has leaves which when comes in contact with this liquid burns slowly but brightly.'

'What is that liquid?' said Jay.

'It is actually a cough syrup,' said Xavier. 'I always carry basic medicines.'

'Why would you carry cough syrup in a siege?' said Dwayne.

'You may never know what comes useful,' said Xavier.

'I know Xavier it is alcohol,' said Erica.

'Caught red-handed,' said Xavier.

Once the torches were prepared they entered the cave. After they had travelled a long path,

Aditi said, 'Careful, we are entering the prison.'

Anthony and Sairendri fired their arrows. Their were only twelve guards who were easily killed by Anthony and Sairendri. Anthony collected the arrows. Aditi sent the emergency message and Jay freed the soldiers. Jay addressed the soldiers,

'Brave soldiers of Astralaya fight the hybrids who have held our king captive. Kill everyone. I believe ten thousand soldiers of Astralaya can hold these petty hybrids. I along with the crown princess and her friends will free the king. Hail Astralaya!

HAIL ASTRALAYA!!!!!

'Father we are coming,' said Aditi.
