Ineffable Conquest

Betrayal

Nine of them ran back towards their horses. They rode the horses and hurried towards the palace. Their plan was successful. Five hundred hybrids had come to handle the situation at the prison. Ten thousand soldiers pounched on them. It was a bloodshed. Suicidal for the Astralayan soldiers. But they were successful in killing each and every hybrid. Though right thousand Astralayan soldiers were martyred. Anthony fired arrows when the palace was about five hundred metres away. He had killed four guards who could have alerted others. They intended to enter the palace from the northeast gate which had less watch guards. They left their horses near the gate and entered the palace.

Erica said, 'How many to kill.'

Beckett said, 'About forty.'

Xander said, 'I sense thirty.'

Erica along with Beckett and Xavier. moved forward while Sairendri, Jay and Xander took cover. Erica lunged towards two hybrids knocking them off while Beckett knocked three hybrids. Xavier beheaded two hybrids. Xander sensed a hybrid nearby Xavier. He threw his battleaxe and killed the hybrid. He told Jay to assist Beckett while instructed Sairendri to look after Erica. Sairendri killed two hybrids while Jay and Beckett killed two each. Aditi along with Dwayne and Anthony entered the rooms nearby. The first room was empty but second room had some hybrids. Aditi killed one while Dwayne killed three. Anthony killed seven hybrids.

Dwayne said, 'That was quite a speed.'

Anthony said, 'My speciality.'

Xander had sensed few hybrids nearby the room which Aditi's group had entered. He alerted Sairendri and asked her kill whoever tries to enter the room. Before Aditi's group came out, Sairendri shot four hybrids who tried to enter the room. Erica had killed five more hybrids while Xavier had killed twenty hybrids. Beckett and Jay killed three each.

Sairendri along with Xander were protecting Aditi's and Erica's group. Xander called back Jay and told him to accompany Anthony. Aditi's group had freed forty Yoddhas. They picked up weapons of the dead hybrids and moved towards Erica's group to assist them. Aditi had killed five while Dwayne had killed ten hybrids. Anthony was twice saved by Xander though Anthony had killed twenty five hybrids. As they reached the topmost floor of the palace, Xander sensed the presence of king Mahadev.

'I sense king Mahadev,' said Xander.

'Are you sure?' said Sairendri while she was busy shooting arrows.

'Yes,' said Dwayne while cracking  the skull of a hybrid. 'I sense his scent,' said Dwayne. Xander and Dwayne have Aditi directions of king Mahadev. Aditi knew the destination. By then Aditi's group had freed thirty more Yoddhas. Their were hundred hybrids facing seventy Yoddhas and nine warriors.

Aditi shouted, 'Hail Astralaya.'

'HAIL ASTRALAYA!!!!'

Hybrids ran into the Yoddhas. Erica's group along with Jay fought with Yoddhas. Anthony and Sairendri stayed a bit behind and shooted arrows. Aditi along with Dwayne and Xander moved towards the location of king Mahadev.

Dwayne said, 'Where is king Mahadev?'

'In his bedroom,' said Aditi.

Dwayne broke the door of Mahadev's bedroom. As they entered they saw that king Mahadev was tied to the legs of bed. He was tied horizontally. His legs at one side while his hands along with his upper body was tied on the other side. He was tortured. He was profusely bleeding, such that his yellow clothes had stained red. His mouth was stuffed. It appeared as if he was shouting.

Aditi shouted, 'FATHER!!!'

'Weapons down,' said a hybrid.

Their were eight hybrids in the room. Two of them had held Swarada.

'Throw your weapons or else we will kill the queen,' said a hybrid.

'No!!' said Aditi. 'You need me, right. Take me. Leave father and mother Swarada.'

'NO!!!' said Dwayne. 'Don't do it.'

Xander tapped his legs. It was a signal for Beckett. Beckett was quick to recognise the hint given by Xander. He alerted Erica and Xavier. Xavier told Jay and he informed Anthony and Sairendri. Beckett lead them towards king Mahadev's bedroom. Before they reached king Mahadev's bedroom alot had happened.

Aditi moved slowly towards the hybrids.

'Wait,' said a hybrid. 'Tell your aides to throw their weapons.'

'Throw your weapons down,' said Aditi. 'I said throw your weapons, Dwayne.'

Dwayne and Xander had thrown their weapons when Aditi instructed but second instruction of Aditi was a clever hint to Dwayne. Aditi moved towards the hybrids holding Swarada. Dwayne threw his throwing daggers at the hybrids holding Swarada. Dwayne didn't have enough precision but that was enough to free Swarada. Aditi punched both the hybrids and hugged Swarada.

'I am glad you are not hurt,' said Aditi.

Aditi knew that Dwayne had picked up throwing daggers from Sairendri. She ensured to give a clear shot to Dwayne such that he could throw both the daggers and the daggers would hit the hybrids. Dwayne and Xander picked up their weapons. Xander killed two hybrids while Dwayne killed four of them. Dwayne and Xander moved towards king Mahadev when they heard,

'How did they not hurt you,' said Aditi. 'Mother Swarada.'

'Because I am their leader,' said Swarada with an evil laughter.

Swarada stabbed Aditi with a dagger. Before she could stab again, Beckett along with Sairendri, Erica, Xavier, Jay and Anthony entered the room.

Sairendri shouted, 'NO!!!'

Xander had held Dwayne from his waist before he saw this horrific scene.

Dwayne shouted, 'YOU WITCH DON'T DARE TO TOUCH HER. LEAVE ME XANDER. I WILL KILL THIS FRUMP.'

'No Dwayne control your senses,' said Beckett. 'She could hurt, Aditi.'

'Atleast someone talks sense,' said Swarada.

'NO! Please leave her,' murmured Dwayne.

'What are you doing?' said Sairendri. 'What will answer to your mother? Do you even know what you are doing, Swarada'

'Of course,' said Swarada. 'I know what I am doing. I can't kill each and every human of Astralaya but I could finish the royal line of Astralaya.'

'What will you achieve?' said Erica. 'What is the purpose of finishing the royal line?'

'Quite!!!' said Swarada. 'Nobody has the right to question me. I have already stabbed Aditi. If you all don't throw your weapons then I will cut neck with this dagger. She will feel pain. She will wince and die with pain. Throw your weapons. THROW YOUR WEAPONS!'

'Witch,' murmured Dwayne.

'We have followed your instructions,' said Erica. 'Now leave her.'

'No,' said Swarada. 'She is coming with me. You can keep the king. Don't try to act smart. Let me leave with my cute little daughter.'

'Please let Xavier treat his wounds,' said Dwayne. 'She will die of bleeding.'

'That would be better,' said Swarada. 'You don't have any alternative.'

'D....Dwayne,' said Aditi. 'I am sorry.'

'NO!!!!!' shouted, crying Dwayne. 'I promised I will save you.'

Xavier signalled Dwayne that Aditi's wounds are not serious.

'Oh!' said Swarada. 'Such a lovey dovey couple. I hate to break you both apart but I had decided this long back.'

'Let me atleast have a last talk with her,' said Dwayne.

'No!' said Swarada. 'So that you could kill me with your bare hands. Never!'

'P...Please,' said Aditi. 'L...Let me t....talk to h...him.'

'No!' said Swarada. 'You witch just that stupid mouth shut and come with me.'

'Please I beg you!' shouted, crying Dwayne.

'D...Dwayne,' said Aditi. 'I....I tried not to get killed. But I....I couldn't. S...Sorry d....darling. I....I h...hope y...you f...find s...some....one b..bet...ter t...than m..me.'

'I won't marry anyone,' said Dwayne. 'You are my first and last love. You are my life and my soul. I can't live without you, Aditi!!' said, wailing Dwayne.

He cried his heart out. He was banging the ground with his bare fists. He had banged it so hard that his fists had started bleed.

'He really loves you,' said, laughing Swarada. 'I extremely disappointed that I couldn't kill you in front of him. It would have been a great scene to watch. Isn't it Dwayne? But your little chick is my exit from here. So if you try hurt me then I kill her. It is so good to see such great warriors incapable against a hybrid. I win!!!! I WIN!!!! I....'

During this time Beckett had signalled Anthony to shoot an arrow at Swarada's hand which had a dagger. Swarada had kept the dagger at Aditi's throat. For this Anthony needed to be fully hidden from the view of Swarada and needed to be very precise. He first slowly went behind Sairendri who was a feet taller than him. He had his bow down on the ground. He first threw an arrow just besides the bow.

He whispered in Sairendri's ears,

'Open your legs apart. Just enough for an arrow to swoosh through them.

Sairendri acknowledged it. She did as Anthony had told him. When Swarada was laughing Anthony ducked and took his bow in his hand. He bended the bow in an angle such that the arrow would hit Swarada's hand in such a way that the dagger will fall off from her hand. Swarada was laughing and shouting, 'I win.' She had totally lost her sense. She was cautious but her sense of victory had blinded her. Seeing an opportunity, Anthony aimed at Swarada's five inches hand through a small ten  inches gap between Sairendri's legs from a distance of hundred  inches. Anthony had hit a bullseye. Swarada winced in pain. Her dagger had fallen from her hand. Beckett threw his spear on Swarada's right shoulder. It had pierced through her shoulder. Dwayne ran towards Aditi. He caught the falling figure of Aditi in his arms. Meanwhile Xander ran towards Swarada.

'I always wanted to bang you,' said Xander. 'I never thought I would have to penetrate you.'

He penetrated his knife first into her left thigh and then into her right thigh. She cried due to pain.

'Y....You f....fool,' said Swarada. 'I...I would h...have n....never let y...you even t....touch m...my b...broken n....nails.'

This angered Xander. He didn't even utter a word against her. He had decided to teach this battleaxe a lesson with his battleaxe. He cut off her both hands. There was no one in the room to even hear her cries. Everyone had gathered around Aditi. Some elite Yoddhas entered the room and had surrounded Aditi. Xander was very angry by Swarada's actions. He was attracted to her but she turned to be a vamp. He knew she had trapped king Mahadev. All her actions had made Xander very angry. He pressed her large breasts and threw her on the bed. He freed king Mahadev who was ignored by everyone.

'Thank you son,' said Mahadev.

'Is their any medical kit around here?'

Mahadev pointed the direction of the medical kit. Xander took that medical kit and started to treat Mahadev. He noticed that he had been administered a lethal poison in small doses which would kill him in hours if proper antidote would not be given in time. Xander shouted, 'Xavier!!!!'

Xavier quickly gave Aditi anaesthesia and started to clean her wounds. He quickly treated her other cuts and wounds. After anaesthesia had started its work, Xavier stitched the wound which was caused due to stabbing. He had just about completed the stitching when he heard his name being shouted by Xander.

'Mother,' said Xander. 'Give him this paste and liquid. Tell him to apply the paste over his wounds. And tell king Mahadev to drink this liquid.'

Erica did as Xavier instructed. Xavier completed the stitching of the wound.

'Take good care of her,' said Xavier.

'Where is her room,' said, sobbing Dwayne.

'I will show you the way,' said Jay.

Xavier went towards Mahadev. Green paste was applied over his wounds. He had gone unconscious after he drank the liquid.

'Will he recover?' said Xander.

'Yes,' said Xavier. 'Trust me.'

'What about the witch?' said Xander. 'I pierced her both thighs and cut off her both hands.'

'You always wanted to operate surgeries, right?' said Xavier. 'Here we have a subject ready for us.'

Xavier and Xander treated Swarada. They didn't administer any anaesthesia. While operating she was howling in pain but Xavier and Xander didn't budge.
