"Your majesty, to what do we owe the pleasure of meeting with you ", her father said, not meeting her gaze. Coward.

Delaney was seated on her large green and gold colored throne. After she had spoken with Damon, she had called the meeting and he went to find Jason, promising to hide Alice. Now Damon and Jason were seated on two simple chairs in the back of the room.

" I have called you all here to announce that I have found my soulmate". She said.

Joyous sounds were heard from every council member and her father smiled at her.

" That is the most joyous news. You highness. May I be so bold as to ask who it is?" Lord Daelion asked.

Delaney looked at him for a minute, trying to decide if it was worth killing him here and now.

" Alpha Damon of the Greenland pack", She said and smiled as she watched Damon rise from his seat and walk up to the throne.

"A werewolf?" Lord Daelion said, disgusted. Every other council member seemed excited about the news.

" Yes, your new king will be a shapeshifter, is there a problem Lord Daelion?" Delaney asked sweetly as she gave him her most terrifying smirk. Lord Daelion just sat down again and grumbled like a child. Yes she would kill him, very soon.

Delaney took a deep breath. " I expect Alpha Damon and his pack to receive your warmest welcome" The council nodded and then the meeting was over. Everyone left pretty quickly.

" Your highness" a Damon said.

Delaney was pulled out of her thoughts and saw Damon and his beta Jason standing before her.

" You don't need to call me that when it's just us," she said softly and smiled.

" Okey Delaney, you said that my pack and I are going to relocate here" he said.

"That is right, what about it?" She answered.

" Does that include me?" A light soft voice said from behind a pillar. Alice. She had been here the entire time, it seemed.

Delaney froze at the sight of her best friend. It had been empty and cold here in the castle since Alice's banishment, and she could not deny that she missed her terribly.

" You broke the law, and you disobeyed your queen," Delaney said with an angry voice.

"I did it for you, so you could finally feel some happiness in your life" Alice said, annoyed.

There was some truth in what she was saying, but Delaney didn't want to believe it. She had always been able to find happiness in things, even if it took time.

" How do you expect me to react when you set them free and went against everything I said and wanted? Your job was to obey me and do what i ordered.I do not care if you did what you thought was best." Delaney said, her eyes starting to glow green.

" I am sorry, okay! I wanted what was best for you and the kingdom, if you had not meet Alpha Damon the kingdom would've not seen an heir." Alice said back.

" I have more important duties to attend to, but you are no longer part of my court. Now you belong to the shapeshifters," Delaney said, and started to rise from her seat at the throne.

" I understand" Alice said in a defeated voice. Delaney hoped that she would understand some day. There were ears and eyes everywhere in this castle. If she took back one traitor, there would be an uprising about crimes being committed. So she gave Alice that look that they had passed between them for so many years, both understanding the meaning. Alice nodded.

So Delaney left, leaving Damon, Jason and Alice in the throne room.

" What just happened" Asked Jason.

" Well it seems that this is now our new home" Damon said, still looking at the giant oak doors that Delany had passed through.

" But how? Are we just going give up the lands that your father fought so hard to keep? Damon your mother will be furious" Jason said trying to talk some sense into his Alpha " We came here to get her back not move ourselves".

" I say we will follow her decision. I don't think it is wise to ignore their Queen's orders", Damon said.

" You're right, it will be seen as if the shapeshifters kidn*pped the Deadly'gardens' new king, and they will launch a war on you guys" Alice said, still annoyed at Delaney.

" So we have no choice? Give up the pack lands and everything we have worked for and move here or go to war against our own Luna?" Jason said too Damon.

"That's pretty much yes," Damon answered.
