" wait!" Damon said fast. Delaney turned and looked at him confused. Why would he want her to wait?

" Yes? What is it?" She asked.

" Would you like a tour? I mean, now that your friend is going to stay, maybe you would like to see the packlands?" He said sounding a little nervous.

She nodded, trying to be nice to him for some reason.

Damon stood up fast and gave her a big smile before taking her hand and basically dragging her outside, she almost fell from trying to keep her balance, her dress tangled in her feet.

The evening sun felt warm as it hit her tanned face. Damon couldn't help but sneaking a look at her beautiful face, her long onyx-black hair waved in the light wind, her green eyes sparkled as she watched nature and all the flowers were growing.

The villagers stopped at stared at her but more closely on their intwined hands, thank godness she didn't noticed she was still holding on he thought.

They walked the path down the houses and she was was interested that they grew flowers and plants on the rooftops.

" Damon!!!" A woman yelled behind them. They turned around and she saw a woman who looked scary much like Damon but slightly older.

" Mom! Your back" Damon said with a smile. He let go of her hand and hugged his mother tighly, she got that bad feeling again like she didnt want him to hug his own mother.

" Yes yes it was all good but your dear father wanted to hurry back home afternhearing you found you mate, so were is she?" His mother clapped her hands exited. Damon motioned behind him to Delaney who stood with a straight back and hands resting on her dress,she had fixed her crown so it sat straight as soon as she heard it was his mother.

The former Luna just stared at her not saying anything but her eyes drifted to Delaneys crown.

" Whats your name dear" His mother asked.

Delaney looked at her, head held high.

" Queen Delaney the first of the deadly garden"

" So you are royalty?" His mother asked.

" who are you " Delaney said.

His mother looked offended that Damon hadnt told his mate about her.

" Iam Damons mother my name is Loranda, how do you like it here sweetheart? Have you gotten settled in yet? " Loranda asked.

" Oh im not staying" Delaney said and looked at Damon who seemed a little sad about her words.'

" Your not? But your the luna of this pack now? Since your Damons mate you two need to be together" Loranda said.

" Unfortunatly i have a kingdom to run ive already been gone to long" Delaney said.

Damon said a quick goodbye to his mother before grabbing Delaneys hand and dragging her along, sshe was a little thankful for that because she had started to loose her patience with that woman.

" Do you really have to leave? " Damon asked looking at the ground. Her heart felt strained at the sight of him feeling down.

" Maybe i can stay a day more or so but after that i have to get back." She said forcing a small smile. Damons whole face lit up at her words and he started dragging her along again showing her everything, pointing out things he wanted to upgrade and build.

wow he was a really passionate leader, maybe he wouldnt be such a bad king after all.

The sun had started to go down by the time he had showed her around the entire village, she was hungry and she could tell Damon noticed because he took her hand and walked to the large house where his office were.

" Its time for dinner now. Anyway, i will show you to your room afterwards", Damon said and gave her a smile. She liked when he smiled, a lot. Delaney only nodded and looked at their joined hands as they walked into the giant dining room. She had thought only they were to have dinner together, but it was the entire pack. As soon as they entered everyone. Some and had eyes on them, some bowed their heads slightly when they walked by but some of the girl gave her dirty looks that when she noticed she was still holding Damons hand.

They sat down at the head table where she could se every single one of the shapeshifters. She noticed Alice was laughing and drinking with Jason four seats away. A few people smiled at them. Delaney couldn't help smiling at the sight of her best friend being happy.

" They belong with each other" Someone said beside her. She turned her head and saw Loranda taking a zip of her wine.

" It seem so yes " Delaney said and took a zip of her own wine.

" Then why did you try to separate them?" Loranda asked again.

" That is private" Delaney answered.

Loranda didn't say anything more after that. A man Delaney hadn't met before stood up and silenced everyone." I would like to make a toast! For our new Luna! Hoping for a loving future for you two", the man said, and cheers erupted all over the dining hall.

Delaney looked shocked with wide eyes. What the hell is going on?,
