"What about a ticket.... A permanent ticket to this place, I want to buy a ticket so i can come here anytime." I replied smiling.
He laughed.
"How much do you have?" he asked.
I paused.
"You would really give me a ticket?" I asked excitedly.
"Yes for a thousand dollar." he replied.
"Done." I immediately replied before he would change his mind.
Then he laughed, he laughed so hard I bet I saw a tear roll down his cheek.
"You are so cute." He mumbled.
I looked at him confused.
"I do have the money to pay like right now." I seriously commented.
He continued laughing.
"You don't have to pay Lilah, I was just messing with you, you can come here anytime you want." He replied.
I starred at him wondering if I heard correctly.
"I hope you aren't kidding with me?" I asked.
He frowned.
"Does this look like my kidding around face?"
I looked at him and shook my head.
"You are serious." I whispered.
"Obviously."
"Thanks a million time!"
He smiled.
"Now can we go to where I really want to show you?" He asked.
I frowned.
"Not yet," I mumbled with no intention of leaving.
He shook his head.
"I knew it would get to this." He mumbled.
I smirked.
"Well I wouldn't apologize for doing this." He replied.
I looked at him confused before I could understand what he was up to he threw me over his shoulder running down the stairs with me like I weighed nothing.
Finally, we stopped in a dark room, he dropped me.
"What is this place?" I mumbled.
He didn't reply.
"Are you planning to kidnap me and hide me here?" I asked.
I didn't have to see him to know he was rolling his eyes.
"Technically it isn't k********g cause you gave your full consent excitedly." He commented.
"That was until I found out you were taking me to your house." I defended.
"Well you weren't complaining some seconds ago when you were gawking at the view.
I rolled my eyes accepting defeat.
"Lights on." Tyler mumbled.
The light in the room automatically flicked on.
Immediately my eyes adjusted to the light I was shocked to see thousands of pictures in the room or more like thousands of pictures of a particular woman in the room.
I gazed at him confused then I looked back at the picture studying it.
Rosy cheekbones, pearly white teeth, Cupid bow pink lips, familiar green eyes, long Brown hair, that mischievous yet elegant smile...
"Your mom?" I asked.
He nodded.
She was drop dead gorgeous, she was so full of life and radiance making me doubt Mr Louis sanity, why would he ever cheat on such a woman?
The pictures displayed showed she carried herself with pride and grace.
"You look nothing like her." I jokingly teased.
He smiled.
"I am nothing like her, she was one of the most selfless person I knew." He sadly commented.
"Do you think she might have liked me if she met me?" I curiously asked.
He smiled.
"Who wouldn't."
There was a comfortable silence between us for a while.
"Why are you showing me something so personal?" I asked.
"Maybe cause it's time I share it with someone who can understand." He replied.
I gazed at him.
"My Mom is dead, my dad cares less if I exist or not, As long as it isn't money I want he doesn't want to be part of that conversation.... I mean he knows he is meant to love me, he wants to but he can't because well he is just a selfish scumbag, we talk at most twice a year, a short two minutes call which his secretary recently added to his schedule but that doesn't mean I would break down...we would break down." He added meaningfully looking at me.
He held my hand.
"You can drink all the tequila in the world, skip school as well as bathing but that changes nothing Lilah. The world isn't fair Lilah, it would never cut you any slack, stop letting your emotions override you, you are a heiress regardless, almost everyone is out to exploit your weakness so its high time you stop being weak.... Its good to cry and miss your mom, hell I have a shrine of my mom's pictures here but that doesn't mean am weak, the world doesn't deserve the adorable blue eyed ten Years old, you have to stop begging for your father's love f**k him." He mumbled.
"I..."
"No excuse Li, its time you show everyone Alexander's true heir, she is badass and brave....she is her Father's daughter, proud, strong headed, beautiful, feisty and the world would never see her cry."
He mumbled cleaning the tears that has already escaped my eyes.
"Am sorry your mom has to die Lilah but life isn't fair and we are the most unlucky so you have to just deal with it." He mumbled.
I nodded then taking both myself and him by surprise I hugged him.
"I lied." I mumbled as he awkwardly hugged me back.
"About what?" He asked.
"Your mom is so much like you." I replied.
He didn't reply.
"Can I go now?". He asked after some time.
"No." I simply replied.
"That's good cause am not letting you go too." He replied.
