I swung my leg over the Mongol horse. It wasn’t a great feat. I was larger than the horse, which stood at about five feet. The breed was small, but they could carry heavy loads and their stamina was legendary. Genghis Khan had nearly taken over the Eastern world on the backs of these small but mighty beasts.
