"Aren't we going to be followed again?" Meg whispered.
"Don't worry, they have that covered," Jake assured her.
"Why was that man trying to stab Meg?" Victoria asked.
"Because he's a baddie, but the police have him now," Meg answered.
"Will there be another one coming to attack us?" Victoria asked fearfully.
"No, Vicky. We'll be very safe soon, I promise," Jake assured her.
They began to pack the few things they'd acquired during their short stay in the penthouse within the last 24 hours. Shortly before 10 p.m., there was a rhythmic knock on the front door.
"Who is it?" Jake asked.
"The mailman," came the reply from the other side of the door. It was the secret code he'd been given by his Serbian contact.
He went to open the door and found a tall black man wait
