Blaze is acting odd. I know he’s still contemplating what might have happened to Stefanie and that’s causing some stress between us both, but it’s not that. At least I don’t think that’s the reason for his odd behavior. I stare out the window of the car, watching the scenery pass by. We’d said our goodbyes as we left Jaxon’s pack and were now heading back home. Thomas would be grateful to see us, I thought with amusement. The poor man was probably sick of being left in charge for a day or so here or there. Finally, I couldn’t stand the silence any longer.
