Jaxon POV It felt quiet, well reasonably quiet around the house without Jordan’s presence. My mother was genuinely upset to see her go. She thought of Jordan as the daughter she never got to have. I raced through the forest, my paws thudding along the ground, sniffing the grass and breathing in the fresh air, the smell of pine and dirt wafting into my nostrils as I headed deep into the forest, Alex’s large silver and white wolf keeping pace beside me.
