Grant POV “I need to retrieve some papers and Sarah needs to get in here,” I said quietly, standing up and placing my hands on the table. “Sarah,” my mother said confused, but my father just nodded tightly. Evidently, he had put two and two together. He was no fool, my father. “I’ll mind-link her, go get what you need” he instructed “but do hurry will you. It seems like today is the day for ridding this pack of all its bad seeds” he muttered darkly, in a foul mood. My mother looked scandalized. Elder Jason merely coughed in amusement. I dashed out of the door and headed upstairs, straight to the bedroom where there was no sign of Sarah. I opened the safe behind the painting and grabbed the papers I needed, jogging back downstairs.
