Meet Your New Parents, Princess

"The mission was successful, My Lord." said a young man, hiding under a long, midnight blue cloak. He is but a villager, who would do ANYTHING for a few gold coins. Though he works for the King, his identity remains a mystery to his fellow villagers and leader. "I can see that." King Parukami began saying.

"You've done well, and will be rewarded handsomely." he finished as he collected a brown bag of gold coins from his nobleman. The mysterious man took his pay and handed Princess Diana over to the King. With a final bow, the young man left the palace. "Haruki, take the little one to her chambers." King Parukami ordered. "Of course, My Lord." Haruki replied and hurried off.

Meanwhile, in Tigatrix, King Tokayami is trying his best to comfort Queen Tamarei, but is unsuccessful thus far."Please, my love, calm down. The Knights and myself will get our baby back, I promise you." King Tokayami assured his wife. "Please be safe, my little Princess." Queen Tamarei thought to herself as she tried her best to dry her tears.

That night, around 9 pm, Princess Diana woke up from her nap. Wondering where her mommy is, she began to cry. One of the Royal maids heard sweet Diana's cry and rushed into her chambers. She took the baby up in her arms and cradled her until she fell right back asleep. On her way out of the room, she was met by King Parukami in the doorway watching her every move.

"M-My Lord! I-I was just putting the Princess to bed!" Yukisama nervously explained to the King. Her cheeks becoming slightly red."Yes, I saw. I would like to have a private chat with you in the morning." King Parukami informed the maid. "Yes, of course. I will return to my chambers now, have a good night, My Lord." said Yukisama. She gave a small bow and headed to her chambers like she said she would.

King Parukami gave one last look at Princess Diana and whispered, "You'll be my greatest weapon, I'm sure of it." Then he retired to his Royal chambers feeling victorious. The next morning, Yukisama quickly ran down the hallway. When she finally reached the throne room, she gave a bow and said, "My Lord. Apologies for being late."

"Try to be on time from here on out." King Parukami said feeling annoyed. "However, I have a task for you, if you wish to earn a few extra gold coins." the King continues saying. Yukisama was shock for a good two minutes, but then replied almost shouting, "Yes of course!" Her behavior was only making King Parukami more and more annoyed. When she saw the displeased look on his face, she quickly apologized.

King Parukami spoke again, "You seem to have a..special way with babies." He continued, "I will be too busy ruling my kingdom to watch over the child so, I am offering you a job as the caretaker of Diana." Yukisama was silent. The King isn't normally 'nice' so it was pretty shocking to hear this. However, Yukisama came to her senses and relpied, " It would be an honor, My Lord."

"Good. You will only need to care for her until she is eight years old." King Parukami informed her. "I don't mean to be nosy, My Lord, but may I know why?" Yukisama queried feeling slightly terrified inside. Surprisingly, the King didn't scold her for asking to much questions. Instead, he answered her saying, "That's because I will start training her from that time on."

"Unless, you would still like to care for the Princess?" he asked raising an eyebrow. "A-actually, my lord, I-I would very much l-love to." Yukisama replied, while burying her face in the palm of her hands. Becoming a bit red himself, King Parukami told the blushing maid, " You can care for the Princess for as long as you like, Yukisama."

Yukisama was softly cursing herself under her breath. Seeing this made the King smile; and believe me, that is NOT a common expression for King Parukami. The next eight years, Yukisama and sometimes the King, takes care of the Princess. Princess Diana soon came to think of them as her new Mom and Dad.
