Chapter Twenty-Seven They didn’t have much to pack, only what they brought with them to the convent. Officer Mike picked up the four O’Sullivan children at the convent early since he had the day off. He already had John with him. It was all arranged, the family taking a little trip to help Susanne recuperate. That’s how Officer Mike explained it to the Family Service and Guidance staff.
