The classroom was empty as the Penguin sat at her desk grading papers. Slowly Elizabeth took the erasers to the window. Without looking up and in a stern voice, the nun directed. ”No, take the erasers outside. I don’t want any mess in the classroom. I have to leave for a meeting at the church so shut the door when you are done. Make sure you do a good job. I will check, you know.” Yes, Elizabeth was sure she would. Elizabeth smiled. That should have alerted the Penguin, but her thoughts were somewhere else. The Priest had called the first meeting of the nuns for the school year, and not one would be late - it was not allowed.
