Chapter 25:

431 Words

Jack's POV:      I was hoping to see her during lunch. I was looking around the cafeteria but she was nowhere. Jayden gave me a weird stare. Like he was trying to figure out what I was doing or looking for. I stared back trying to look like I wasn't worried but my wolf kept saying something was wrong. He wanted us to look for her immediately.      "What are you doing" Jayden asked me.      "Nothing." I answered emotionless hoping he would let it go but knowing him he wouldn't. I've been trying to make him trust me. I'm not going to lie, i miss my best friend.      "I don't believe you!" Of course he wouldn't. I'm his best friend, the one he blames because his mate left him and is now hanging out with me. It's not like she rejected him. Although I doubt she knows about rejections.
