Chapter 14: No Snacks Yes Sleep

    Robbin's POV: 

    I can't believe this! They have no snacks! How do these wolves survive without some chips or ice cream. Ugh! Grandma used to have all my favorites i guess now i have to hold it until i make up my decision if i should stay or not. I just feel like Jayden is rushing everything. I'm too young and i want too keep studying. My parents would have wanted that. They always said never to relay on someone because i never know when they can leave me. And they are right, what if Jayden changes his mind and decides to leave me. I need to depend on myself. 

    Right now i depend on the kitchen for some midnight snack but i can't find anything. I think i'll go to bed and by bed i mean the couch. You see, i would've gone to a guest room if i had remembered where the rooms were. This house is huge and i had barely payed attention to Jayden when he gave me the tour. Since I'm afraid to open  one of the doors and find out that a mated couple is in there, it would be so embarrasing. So the couch will have to do for now. Well it's late and i need sleep but just as i was about to sleep someone came and interrupted it. 

    "Luna what are you doing on the couch?" Jack asked. So i decided to be honest since he is the Beta and everything.  

    "Well you see, your Alpha was being very pushy so i left and came to sleep here" I said. And to be fair he was being very pushy. 

    "You can take my room so you won't be uncomfortable" He offered. 

    "It's fine, it is your room" I said. He doesn't need to. I'll be fine just a little neck pain but that's it. 

    "I insist, my job is to protect you and not let you be in pain. It includes body pain after sleeping on an uncomfrotable couch" He argued.

    "Fine but where will you sleep" I was very curious

    "I have to go and patrol the border at this time so i won't be sleeping right now. I should be back in the morning" He said. I feel bad that he can't sleep but since it's his job he must do it. 

    "Ok, thanks so much" I said going to his room. You must be wondering how i remember where his room is. Well that's because Jayden made sure i knew exactly where each important person or "high ranks" like he puts it, sleeps at just in case I'm in trouble and need help with something. 

    Once i got to his room it was super dark. And it smelled a lot like Jack. I wonder how much cologne he wears. But I'm too tired to care anymore. I got under the covers and went to sleep.
