Chapter 6: The Truth

Cory's POV:
She tried to escape but i didn't let her. I tightened my grip. She was mine and only mine! I would never let her go.
"Please let me go!" She yelled
"I can't do that love" I said calmly
"Why, i know nothing of what you both were talking about!" She argued
"But you heard everything and i want to clear it all up" i said
"I don't want to know anything, just let me go!" She kept struggling but i will never let go
"I'm going to tell you everything just stop!" She kept getting on my nerves
"Fine!" She finally stopped
Once we made it to the clearing i put her down but held on to her waist since i was sure she would try to escape. Which was true but since i was holding her she couldn't.
"Please stay still" I asked her while looking her in the eye.
"OK" She replied
"Now what I'm about to tell you might freak you out a bit but i want you to know I would never hurt you" i told her calmly
"I'm a werewolf and you're my soulmate" I was waiting for her reaction. Nothing came yet.
"You expect me to believe you?!" She started laughing which is normal when you tell your human mate. So I'm going to have to show her.
"Since you don't believe me I'll just show you then" So i started to shift. I don't have a problem with clothes since mine don't shred because I'm an Alpha. Once i was done shifting i looked up to see her reaction this time. She looked surprised but then i saw an emotion i didn't want to see. Fear. She was scared of me.
"AHHHHHHH, WOLF!" And she ran. I did expect that from her. Now i have to go after her.
