As these questions swirl around my mind, guilt swirls around my dad's mind. I know he blames himself but I also know that the blame should be pointed at someone else. The blame isn't my dad's punishment to carry.  The blame should be carried by the people who killed my mom and who kidn*pped me, not anyone else.  The rest of the night passes quietly. My dad and I spend it separately. He works in his office while I study in my room.
