I was woken up earlier than usual by my dad and all of our guests. Everyone smiling brightly as my dad holds out a small jewellery box along with two letters. "Good morning, honey. Once you have read the letters be sure to find us in the kitchen." My dad says and everyone starts leaving my room. I open the small jewellery box first. A silver heart shaped locket necklace lays in the embrace of the material. On the outside of the locket is an engraving reading: Forever and Always. When I open the locket there is two pictures. The first one is a photo of me and my biological mother right after I was born. The second one is of me and my stepmom sitting by the river at my aunt's farm.
