Stephanie's POV
It's Saturday and also the best day for me to carry out my plan. I dressed up and asked my driver to take me to the hospital in my car. When I got there, I was directed to the office of the doctor I had an appointment with and I did the checkup. The doctor asked for permission to take my blood and I was a little bit surprised because he never asks for permission to take other people's blood, I think it's because I'm a celebrity so I just said yes since I already know why he needs the blood.
I happily left the hospital after I purposely left my phone in the doctors office so that I can have a reason to come back there and I'm sure the DNA test would be ready when I get back to the hospital.
Nelson's POV
I'm really nervous because today is Saturday and also the day I'll ask Olivia to be my girlfriend, I'm so scared.
What if she rejects me?
I don't know if she feels the same way I feel for her but I have to be fast before someone else takes her from me. I went to her house around 4pm to pick her up as planned but I didn't take any car with me, I just wanted us to take a walk and gist about some things since where we're headed isn't far from her home.
She was beautifully dressed when I got there and it took me a lot of self control not to have her right there, I told her we were going to walk and she didn't even complain.
We talked about many things on the way and it was great to hear her beautiful voice and her laugh that can melt a stony heart.
After walking for some time, we finally arrived at our destination.
I had everything planned out already It was a beautiful garden with rose petals surrounding everywhere and candlestick of different colors and I had to commend myself for a job well done. The table was filled with different dishes and great aroma, Olivia's mouth was agape as she stared at the well decorated garden which was meant for both of us alone. Since Olivia said she hasn't been in a relationship before, I wanted her first relationship and date to be the best because she's a rare gem and she definitely deserves nothing but the best.
We sat down quietly and opened the dishes, Olivia closed her eyes and took in the aroma of the food which made me chuckle a bit after which she started eating. I decided that was the best time to tell her what was on my mind.
"Olivia, there's something I want to tell you", I said to her nervously rubbing my palms together.
Since I was serious, it caught her attention so she dropped the spoon and focused on me.
"What is it?", she asked politely and that's part of what I like about her. She's really polite and humble and despite the fact that we're best friends she still respects me a lot.
"I really don't know how to put it, bbut... I love you. I love you so much and I want you to be my girlfriend, please don't say no" I told her holding her hand on the table while she just stared at me like she's in a trance.
Olivia's POV
My mind is definitely playing games with me now because there's no way Nelson is asking me to be his girlfriend, I need to get a hold of myself before things get out of hand. I quickly shrug the thought off and gave Nelson a small smile.
"I'm sorry I got carried away, so what did you say?",I asked him but he frowned instead.
" So you mean you didn't hear any single word I said?",he asked me in frustration.
" I'm really sorry, say it again please.... " I gave him my cutest puppy face which I know he can't resist.
"Fine then. I said I love you and I want you to be my girlfriend. I know it doesn't make sense that I fell in love with you within a short period of time but that's the truth please make me the happiest man in the world by becoming my girlfriend". He concluded his speech and I just stared at him.
Someone should pinch me cos I'm sure I'm dreaming, no let me just dream on.
No one should wake me up from this beautiful dream, Nelson's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Olivia, you're not saying anything", he said and I swallowed hard.
"You love me?", I find myself asking him.
"Yes I really do and if you need time to think about it, I'll gladly give you the time to do so", he said leaving me gobsmacked I never thought a day like this would come, I never even imagined it and I can't possibly say no because I love him too but what if he just wants to use me.
I looked into his eyes and all I saw was a guy that is helplessly in love with me.
"I'll be your girlfriend. I actually love you too but I never thought you'd look at someone like me this way" he instantly pulled me into a hug after I said that and then he pulled back after some time.
We finished eating and just went home since it was late and we were still going to walk back home. He kissed my forehead when we got to the front of my house and I bade him farewell before he also went home.
Stephanie's POV
I went back to the hospital in the evening as planned and I was taken to the doctor's office. Fortunately for me, the doctor was with the test result so I convinced him to change the result. I offered him a huge amount of money but he wasn't willing to comply so I doubled the money and he agreed immediately, I know I'm going to collect the money from my soon to be parents so it wasn't a problem for me. He tore the result in my presence and promised me that the fake result would be ready on Monday. I transferred half of the money to his account since that was our agreement and I'll transfer the remaining half after I see the result.
