Park Sung Joo POV
The doctor called me this morning that they've found a perfect match among the various tests conducted so I quickly rushed the works I had to do and I was through after six hours then I got ready to leave so right now I'm on my way to England in my private jet.
My daughter is really important to me so going to England right away is nothing compared to how we've hurt her.
I wish I had some magical powers that could take me to England within five minutes because I'm really nervous and scared.
I don't know how I'm going to face my daughter after all these years and I'm not sure she'll ever forgive us for what we did to her.
I got to England really late at night and I went straight to the hospital, the nurses there wasted no time in taking me to the doctor's office since I was a powerful and influential man.
I asked for the matching result and the doctor gave it to me while I just stared at it in shock because it was no other person than the popular model Stephanie.
We've met on several occasions but I've never felt any connection towards her so I find it strange that she's my lost daughter.
Anyway that doesn't matter now, what matters is how I'm going to tell her I'm the incompetent father that left her for over 17 years, I'm totally confused.
She's rich on her own and I doubt if she will ever accept us when she can take care of herself.
I will just stay in a hotel tonight and go to her house very early tomorrow morning.
Park Min Shin POV (Min Jin's Mom)
My husband got a call from one of the hospitals the DNA test is being carried out saying they've found a match so right now he is on his way to England after round up the work he has to do.
For 17 years now, I've felt completely empty after abandoning my daughter and I won't be surprised if she doesn't forgive us because we don't deserve anything close to forgiveness.
I believe that if I find my daughter I'll feel complete once again so apart from the DNA test, this is another way I can find my true daughter and now I'm patiently waiting for my husband to bring back our daughter so I can shower her with all the love and care she deserves.
Her siblings also miss her so much because they've always wanted a little sister and that was why we gave birth to Min Jin in the first place, we tried giving birth to another baby girl after what happened but sadly I can't give birth anymore so I just have to wait for my daughter and I hope she's alright wherever she is.
Stephanie's POV
I was dressed for school when I heard the doorbell so I went downstairs to get the door and I saw Mr Park.
I know why he's here but it won't be fun if I don't pretend so I greeted him politely and ushered him in.
"Good morning sir", I greeted respectfully.
"You're welcome to my humble abode, so what would you like sir" I enjoy the nervous look on his face as he tried his possible best to avoid staring directly at my eyes
"I'm okay, you don't have to stress yourself"
"Okay sir. So how can I help you because I was about going to school before you came in"
"Actually, I came here to tell you something, I know you might never forgive me but please do understand"
"I don't understand sir", I said feigning ignorance and confusion
"I'm your birth father and my wife is also your birth mother, the family that has been taking care of you are not your real family. Although I know I'm indebted to them for taking care of you until now and for making you who you are, I still want my daughter back please forgive us for abandoning you", he concluded and I almost bursted into laughter because of the look on his face but I quickly covered it up with a frown.
"We're not in the month of April sir and like I said I'm supposed to be in school now so please tell me why you're here sir"
"That's why I'm here and I'm really serious about it. You can call your parents and ask them about it" There's no way I'm calling my parents because they're just going to blow my cover, I have to do this secretly without their knowledge.
"You mean you're my real father and I've been living in lies all these years? I asked pretending to be shocked
"I'm sorry, I had no choice"
"I don't believe you and I'll never believe you" I said moving away from him and faking tears
"I swear that's the truth, okay i have an evidence here with me. You went to the hospital for check up few days ago and the doctor took your blood in order to carry out a test, this is the result".
He stretched it to me and I slowly collected it with shaky hands, if only he knew the result was fake.
After few minutes of staring at the paper without reading anything, I busted into fresh tears.
"So that's the reason why my parents treated me like trash, you abandoned me when I was a baby and left me to suffer in the hands of those people, did you hate me that much? What exactly was my offense?" I asked him in tears and I must commend myself for being a really good artist
"We're sorry, the circumstance we found ourselves that day made us do it, you did nothing wrong and we've realized our mistake, please forgive us", he said going down on his knees and I kind of pitied him because I'm not even his real daughter but I have a mission here so I need to keep up with my act
"Just leave please", I said tiredly "I want to be alone"
"Please forg....." I didn't let him complete his statement before I cut him off
"I said leave. Which part of that sentence don't you understand? Just leave me alone!!!!!!! He stood up and slowly left my house in tears while I busted into laughter when I was sure he was gone. He hasn't seen anything yet
