Elusive rest....Zion

My wolf was aroused by Anneesha's scent that lingered long after her exit. For the first time in my life I was intrigued by a female that wasn't Regina. If her little helper had not interrupted us I'm sure I could have tasted her lips. Just the thought of it made my manhood harden calling for a shower. I turned towards the suite she pointed out to me and was floored by the arrangements made for me. This wasn't just a room it was a space for royalty. Never one to really consider a rooms decor I couldn't help but notice the rich blue bedding with the same colors as the drapes. It had a sitting area with plush sofas and a huge wide screen television hanging above the hearth of the fire place. A desk sat to left of it with two chairs facing it. I walked further into the space and opened a door to the right. The so called bathroom was literally made for someone my size. It had a tub atleast four people could sit in and a shower room. With waterfall shower heads. I was gawking at the space when I heard my Beta call out for me. "Hey Zee, where you at?" He said before making a whistling sound."Damn, man you talk about royalty treatment." As he stood in the bathroom doorway. "I know!" Was my only response. "Do you want to go explore the grounds with us?" He asked. "Actually, no I think I'm going to take a shower and try to get some rest before the evening begins." Was my response as I looked around the bathroom again. "Alright I'm gonna leave the Delta with you just in case you need anything." He said as he backed out the doorway. I never responded for all I cared all of them could've taken a tour. I made quick work of stripping down and taking a really needed shower. Everything a man needs to be well groomed was waiting for me. After bathing and feeling refreshed I laid across the huge bed in my towel and allowed my thoughts to drift back to Anneesha. I could see her in my mind the pretty red curls she tried to tame. The way her eyes glistened when she smiled. How she made my nature rise with one look. I was lost in the thougt. As my cellphone started ringing it had done so several times before I finally decided to answer. "Yes!" I barked irritated from a lack of patience. "Zion, can you hear me?" The horrible connection made the caller sound distorted. "Who is this?" "Regina!" I could hear the ring in her voice. I'd forgotten about her with Annesha taking over my mind and clouding all of my good judgment. "Where are you?" I asked as I sat up on the side of the bed."I called you and you were ignoring my calls." The irritation returned. "I can't explain it right now but I am going to be with you soon. I'll see you on your birthday." She said. "What do you mean you can't explain it? Your coming to the summit?" My mind raced I was confused and annoyed with the way she was communicating. I've should've been excited for her presence her coming the night I become a full blown adult wolf. Opening the door for me to not only claim her but to mark her as my own. But I didn't know if I still wanted that. Or if my mother was right about us not being destined. "Zion, you still there?" She asked. "Yeah, I'm here." "Well, I can’t wait to see you I gotta go i'll explain everything once I get there. I gotta go so I can prepare." She sang into the phone as if her excitement was growing. Just like that the call ended. I wasn't really sure what to think anymore. I could feel a part of me didn't want her to come at all. I looked around the opulent room and decided this space was to vast for my racing thoughts. I needed to run. I stood up on the side of my bed that had to be larger then a king and rubbed my eyes. I looked over at my bags that were waiting for me on the lounge chair in the sitting area. Digging through my things I saw my mother had a hand in packing. Finally finding my workout clothes I was glad she packed I got dressed and was ready to go. When I opened my bedroom door I saw my Delta Ruben sleeping like a dead man on the sofa. Deciding not to wake him I left a note. "Gone for a run!" It read. Then I headed out the door. I retraced my steps back down the corridor where the Alpha’s are memorialized. Stopping in front of the painting of Anneesha's father. I wondered about the circumstances of his demise, before I moved on to head outside. So many people were arriving and helpers were scurring about I tried my best to stay out of the way. And felt like I achieved a victory once I made it out a side door.
