After one of the most restless nights of sleep I rose early with the others. Today we were starting the demonstrations for the other packs. I really hated the whole idea of being watched as we trained especially since I was planning my life as a Luna and didn't put the correct amount of energy into it.
"Oh, now look at this!" one of the girls said as she was on her phone. "Have you ever seen Alpha Zion smile like this?" she asked as the other's gathered around gawking at my mate. they were giggling as I approached.
"What are you all talking about?" I questioned.
The one with the phone knew who I was to the Alpha and wanted me to see it the most. "Oh, it's just the Alpha Zion with this beautiful girl that happens to be the Region's daughter." she smirked obviously recalling my melt down from the previous night.
I snatched her phone and saw the beauty leaning over his shoulders as they both smiled for the camera. She was flawless with smooth chestnut skin and bright red hair that fell in a million little curls framing her face. I wished I could say she was less than me but no way could I deny the home wreckers beauty. I shifted my eyes to see a smiling Zion. He looked happy and content. I studied how he held her hand over his shoulder at the same time.
I felt the tears start to fall before I could stop them. There was no chance in hell that I could loose my spot in his life, but with this lil b***h it was surely possible.
The girl that showed me her phone snatched it back. "I guess you know why no one knew his girlfriend was coming." she laughed as she and her little group walked away.
I stood there alone for a few minutes trying to gather my thoughts. How could this happen? I wondered to myself, it's only been a day and a half and he is with someone else. Is the damn prophecy real? Is he really supposed to rule the Region with the Red Wolf? I panicked and dialed his number. I was relieved when he answered.
"Yo!" I could hear the sleep in his voice.
"Wake up Zion, who is this girl you scattered all over the internet with!" I spat into the phone.
"What!?" He asked instantly awake. "What are you talking about?"
"I'm talking about the b***h you obviously ignored me for last night."
" You need to calm down." His voice came across even and cold. " First of all I don't know about no damn picture second of all you ignored me for a whole day." He shot back.
"I wasn't ignoring you I was trying to surprise your ass. I see how easily you move on though. Plus when I arrived they treated me like I was one of these f*****g servants of yours."
"Servants! You got things real messed up right now. I'm on my way." He shot back before ending the call.
I was still upset but I knew him coming to me meant I was still a priority and this little picture is nothing. I am still the mate of his choosing. I didn't spend the last two years of my like sucking him off to mate with someone else.
I decided I needed to make myself presentable and this damn training uniform did nothing to help that. I quickly ran to my bags to find something sexy. Something that would make him forget that red head and to remember what we shared. I snatched a white body con dress out of my bag and ran to the showers. I has to secure my place with him.
I quickly applied some light makeup and sprayed myself down with a body spray. I slid my feet into some heels and made my way down to the sitting room to await his arrival.
"Oh so your not going to train with us?" The one that showed me the picture asked.
I never knew her name and at this point in my life never wanted to know it. She was beneath me and I was all to happy to answer her question.
"Why would I be training when the Alpha is coming to get me for the day?" I smiled.
What's her name looked surprised but knew better than to challenge me. I watched as they all filed both men and women out of the dormitory with their escort.
I was happy to have the place to myself as I would have the privacy I needed to get my man back in line.
I glanced at my phone seeing an hour had passed since we last spoke. I called him and got no answer. I knew he was coming maybe still getting ready. I thought.
I sat back on the plush chair and realized how much more comfortable it was then that bed they gave me. Eyeing the remote on the table before me I reached for it and turned the over size screen on.
The news was playing and the anchors were discussing the summit.
"The last submitt held was exactly nineteen years ago when the Alpha Obsidian found his mate." the dingy blonde said.
"Yes, it led to one of the biggest celebrations we've ever seen." Her co host said.
"We now are so excited to see his son Alpha Zion following in his foot steps." She said causing me to turn the stupid thing off.
"Zion, is coming to get me and prove them all wrong." I said aloud to no one. "Watch and see."
As time ticked by and he still not arrived.
