Chapter one: The wedding

When I close my eyes I can see him, I can see us. Happy and in love together in each other’s arms, but as soon as I open my eyes, I am still here in this wedding dress with these people running up and down for me to make me happy. Yet I am far from happy. I miss him, the one I love. He made me laugh even when I was fuming mad at him. I loved his pale skin, green eyes, light Brown hair and those cheekbones. He was perfect but he was gone now. I shook my head as an attempt to stop thinking about him. My dad walked in just as I looked at myself in the mirror, “Ready to get hitched honey pumpkin?” I smiled and hooked my arm around his and offered for him to lead the way. We walked to the doors and waited, “Honey pumpkin, are you sure about this?” I looked at him with tears about to stream down my face, “I...” I was cut off as the door swung open and the music started. Everyone stood up and looked at me in awe. We started walking towards the altar. My dad let go of my arm in the very man I despised took me and told the priest to get on with it. He started the process and then finally he said the words that was my last bit of hope, “Does anyone object to these two getting married?” No one said anything as I fell apart on the inside. He had started reading the vowels when the doors pushed open and I nearly had a heart attack, “She cannot marry that fucker!” It was him, oh god it was Connor, those green eyes and pale skin glowing in the sunset. I grabbed the train of my dress and practically sprinted towards him. He kiss me on my forehead and pick me up like I was his bride, his muscles hard and Solid as he carried me to his car and tucked me in before slamming the door shut.
