Chapter six: Dealing

s**t, s**t, s**t. What did I just do! I didn’t mean it to come out the way it did! I meant it as in I want to put a ring on her finger before I put a child in her. I decided to give her some space before heading to look for her. I watched Pixels on Netflix while I waited for her to cool down and talk. I do not know when, but I must have dozed off because I woke up and realised it had been a few hours since Melody had walked out. I decided to go look for her, it took me a few hours, but I eventually found her at the bar, she was drinking a cocktail. I went to sit on the bar stool next to her, “Hey…” “What do you want?” “Can we please go back to the suite and talk about this?” “No, just leave me alone!” Just then a woman walked up to us, she was quite pretty. She has toned almond tanned skin and bright blue eyes. She wore her dark silky hair up in a high ponytail, “Is this guy bothering you, miss?” Who was this woman, and a better question was who the hell did she think she was? “I am not bothering her, and our conversation does not concern you.” I grinned through my teeth. “I was not talking to you, I was talking to uhm, sorry I did not catch your name.” “Melody, my name is Melody. And yes, yes he is.” “Well Melody, the reason I came here was to find out if you would like to join me and brother over there?” I looked over and saw a man that, I hate to admit but he made me feel insecure. He looked like a god, he was tall with dark hair, baby blue eyes, hard muscles and a little bit of a stubble on his face. I looked over at Melody and she was actually drooling. “Melody can not seriously be considering this.” She winked at me as she got up and linked her arm in the pretty girl’s arm. I knew she was only doing this as a show to make me jealous, so I headed back to the suite. I decided to take a shower and head to the lodge's main pool to tan. I hopped into the shower and just stood there letting the warm water run down my entire body. After a bit I washed myself, then got out of the shower wrapped a towel around my waist, headed to the sink and brushed my teeth. I left the bathroom and changed into my swimming shorts. As I was about to head out Melody walked in, “And where are you going?” “To the pool.” “To hit on girls?” “No, you are drunk, go to sleep!” Before she could even argue I felt with no explanation and headed to the pool to absorb some good sun and vitamin D. Although I needed to tan more, I was really pale.
