Chapter Twenty-Two Bobbi Jo The sound of the doorbell ringing woke me up from a deep and restful sleep. I heard Betty Sue shout, “I’ll get it. I saw flowers coming up the sidewalk. I’m sure it’s for me.” I snuggled back down, sure they were for her too. But then a few minutes later, the bedroom door opened and in came a mountain of flowers. “Surprise, Bobbi Jo. These are for you.” Rubbing my eyes, I sat up. “Huh?” Betty Sue put the vase full of all kinds of flowers on my desk. “These are for you, Bobbi Jo.” She took the card out of them and handed it to me. “I know who they’re from.
