Chapter 1: the smell.....

(Amy's POV)

What is that smell she thinks, it's sweet like chocolate over fire pit. No, it's like s'mores, why is she smelling s'mores and a fire pit? Her inner wolf yells "mate" huh she says.... who?........

He's there Ron was coming in the door when he smelled sweet smell of roses and lavender. What is that intoxicating smell he wanders? As he gets closer to the door it gets stronger. His wolf starts howling must find her.... find our mate. He is confused huh. He asked his wolf what's going on? Our mate is here his wolf wines. Where he wonders? Follow her scent dummy his wolf screams. By this time, he is at her side and Whispers mate as he sucks in the air.  He startled her as she descended the last two steps of the stairs.

Huh? She gasped as he grabs her waist. He tries to scent her in his excitement to find her. What are you doing sir? Yeah since shock. He released her quickly and nursing everyone was staring at them. He straightened up and cleared his thoughts. I'm sorry I thought you were going to fall he said. She was taken back at what just happened.

Just as her father was going to announce the start of her transfer to Luna her hand was grabbed from a unseen alpha. He led her to the stairs of the stage her father was waiting for her at. Many pack alphas came to her transitioning ceremony to witness the ancient tradition of the transfer.

Her Father proudly announced that it was her duty as the new Luna to choose her Beta, and she looked around to her friends. How could she choose just one she wondered? Her best friend Alex had been there for everything and took his beatings from her without complaining. she snickered at the idea.... Yes, she would choose him as he always knew she was a leader.

In the back of her mind she wondered who was that guy and is he really her mate? Why was he here? She just ignored the fact he was there when she remembered that she had a job to do...... Her father held out his hand for her and she took it and stepped into his embrace as the ceremony began.
