Wale was engrossed in watching the movie and didn't remember to check the time. Just when the movie was getting to its climax, his phone began to ring. He picked it up from his reading table and looked to see that it was Samuel that was calling. There was a faint smile on his face as he answered the call.
"Hello Samuel, how are you doing?"
"Hi Wale, I am doing well, thank you. And how are you doing?" he asked.
"I am doing great, thank you," Wale replied.
"Good to know. What are you still doing upstairs? I expect you to be downstairs by now," Samuel said as Wale immediately glanced at the time, it was twenty minutes to nine.
"Oh, I am sorry, I was watching a movie and lost track of time. I will be downstairs in a jiffy," he replied and hung up the phone.
He quickly wore his slippers
