Jane stared at Wale for a moment before she began telling him about her life.
"My parents have just two children. My sister and I, and I am the eldest. Presently, I am 23 years old while my sister is 21. My father was a stern man and a disciplinarian when we were growing up but he was also a doting father. My mother, on the other hand, is the quiet type who always looks calm no matter how bad a situation is. I inherited most of my mother's traits while my sister inherited most of my father's traits.
"Are your parents still alive?" Wale asked.
"Yes, they are alive and they are hale and hearty. My father is no longer stern perhaps because we are grown up and he is now aging," she replied.
