As he lied on his bed, the more he thought about the whole incident, the more his resolution not to lie to Chief Williams grew stronger. He was lost in thoughts when there was a knock on his door. That must be Mary, she must have come to give him the medications.
"Yes, come in," he said loudly.
The door swung open and Mary walked in carrying a tray with two bottles of medications on them. Wale got up and sat on the bed, then, he stretched forth his hands to receive the medications from her and she moved closer and gave them to him. She explained how he would take the dosage according to instructions given to her by Chief Williams. Wale thanked her and she left.
He looked at the two bottles of medication in his hands and suddenly, he roared into laughter.
