Wale and Jane were in each other's arms in a warm embrace. Jane clung to him tightly as if he was about to disappear from her arms. Wale was glad that at last she has reasoned with him and accepted his pleas. Going by her passionate words to him and her display of affection, he does not doubt in his mind that she truly loves him. Although, it still baffles him that she could fall so deeply in love with him when she barely knows him.
He glanced at the time, it was a couple of minutes to four. He was alarmed to see that he has spent so much time in her house. He needs to take his leave at once. He gently disengaged from her and gazed at her face. He smiled as he saw that her countenance has changed and she looked quite happy and seem to radiate joy.
