9 House plans unfurled on the coffee table, miniature liquor bottles weighting down the corners. Anna laid out a string of candy bars, representing the driveway. A nickel glinted between her thumb and forefinger. “This is you.” She placed it on the northwest corner of the flattened bag of chips posing as the yard. “This is me.” She set a quarter at the base of the driveway to the south. “The pennies are the possible places the guards might be.” The couch sighed as Art leaned forward, knees almost touching the battle plan comprised of the hotel’s minibar. Probably looked like a fourth grader’s geography project compared to what he was used to. “Can’t help but notice there’s a lot more copper than silver on the board.
