  They were obviously taken aback by Gavin's quick choice. I can't blame them; I, too, was taken aback by the turn of events. That was just too quick.   The judge was already waiting for us when we entered the building. He would be the one to officiate our wedding.   Everything was completed fast. We just exchanged vows and rings, signed the documents, and kissed to signify our unity.   Our marriage was hardly romantic—far from the storybook wedding I had imagined.   Gavin promised to marry me at a church in the future. But, I'm not sure whether he meant it or simply said it to persuade my auntie.   Following that, we all ate at a fine restaurant.
