Chapter 13:
Alex couldn't shake off the feeling of unease as she made her way to the old warehouse on the outskirts of town. The building loomed before her, its towering structure casting long shadows in the fading light.
She hesitated for a moment, wondering if she should turn back. But something about Julian's words had piqued her curiosity. What did he mean by "exploring a new side" of herself? And what kind of opportunity was he talking about?
Taking a deep breath, Alex pushed open the creaky door and stepped inside. The warehouse was dimly lit, the only sound the creaking of old wooden beams.
As she ventured deeper, she saw figures gathered around a makeshift stage. Ethan, Taylor, and the others were there, their faces lit up by flickering candles.
Julian emerged from the shadows, a small smile playing on his lips. "Welcome, Alex. We've been waiting for you."
Alex felt a shiver run down her spine as Julian led her to the stage. What was going on? And what did they have planned for her?
As she reached the stage, Alex saw a figure waiting for her. It was a woman, her face obscured by shadows.
"Who is this?" Alex asked, trying to keep her voice steady.
"This is Ariana," Julian said. "She's here to guide you on your journey."
Ariana stepped forward, her eyes gleaming in the candlelight. "Welcome, Alex. I've been waiting for you. You have a certain... spark within you. And I'm here to help you ignite it."
