19 Calm It is always deep. ***   I WOKE to the sound of working tines and knives from the kitchen halls. For not sleeping, a couple of hours are enough for now, knowing how I was not the only one struggling. I walked in on my boss barely dressed, hair dishevelled, and eyes slightly drooping but resistant. “You should sleep some more, Miss Luo.” I evaded his words and made no reply as I went over to his side. “Do you see strings, Sir?” I asked instead. I reached for a couple of lemons and started making lemon water for us.
