CHAPTER FIFTY-THREE Day4 Minutes before dawn. A gust of wind moves through the room. Sarah shivers, reaching for the covers, and when she doesn’t find them, she opens her eyes to Rayden staring right at her, and she squeals. “Fih’kas Rayden!” She scrambles to pull the covers to her chest, backing away, and looks around for Peter. Rayden backs away from the bed, gesturing to Peter sitting across the section. “I gave you fair warning. Although, Peter told me you just fell asleep a moment ago, and for that I apologize.” He extends a hand.
