CHAPTER SIXTY
Sarah finds herself standing with Jorah in a melodic silence.
A hand slides across Jorah’s shoulders.
Jorah jumps, and they both look up.
A balled head with Jorah’s brown slanted eyes turns to her and smiles, squeezing her shoulder into a hug.
Jorah smiles back. “Good evening, Father.” Her words slur a bit at the end.
Jorah’s father puts a finger under her chin. “Good evening, my rose.” He smiles, lighting a kiss on her forehead.
Jorah grins, jumping, and then puts out a hand to Sarah. “Oh, Father, this is E—”
