Kayla's Pov
After going downstairs and getting into the car, the driver turned on the car and took us to the store. It was all about the ideal clothing; the drive wasn't quiet at all.
Tiana would not stop talking about how we were going to dress tonight, how we would attract everyone's attention, and how we needed to be the best.
I had no idea how to contribute to the discussion. I pretended to be a part of the buzz by simply nodding when necessary and occasionally saying "Okay" and "Yes."
We arrived at the store at last.
A woman approached us as soon as we entered and asked, "How may we help you today?" Tiana confidently stepped forward.
“We came to choose the best gowns for tonight's celebration.
