Kayla's Pov
The dress I wore was not comfortable at all. The fabric rubbed against my thighs with every step I took. It was too tight and too short. I felt like I was almost n***d under the light of the motel sign. “The Whispering Pines” was the name of this place.. It did not feel peaceful. The air smelled bad like rain and dirty roads.
My fingers held the strap of my purse tightly. Inside the purse at the bottom was a small glass bottle. The pharmacist had told me to use one drop. That was all it would take to help Tiana. She had been having a time and I wanted to help her.
I looked down at the water on the ground near my feet. The person staring back at me did not look like me. The makeup was too much , the hair was too wild and the dress was too flashy. I looked like so
