Chapter 12

Cas POV

After the talk I had with her Uncle Felix I felt much better, that ground is so rich of gold, but what I didn't know is that his niece would sweep me away too. On the plane I kept her close as it was her first time flying, then hearing her soft snores and breath on my shoulder soothed me for this meeting with Felix, little did I know it was her Uncle. Her Uncle gave me "the talk" I've had plenty of these before but never took them seriously, but this time I am taking this seriously. I turn and see her coming down the stairs, she looks so beautiful, like a goddess, she's so optimistic and always wants what's best she has a kind heart, I just hope I don't hurt that precious heart of hers, I would never do anything, but I know I would do everything just to be here right now.

"Ready now?" I laugh,

"Yes I'm ready now" I walk over and take her hand, it fits perfectly in mine as we intertwine our fingers together. The warmth of her makes me very happy as I flash her my smile I know she's putty in my hands, I help her down the stairs and take her into the village.

Zara POV

AHH! I can't get over this, Cas is holding my hand, and it fits perfectly like we were made for each other or something. I don't really believe in love at first sight but I do believe there is always someone out there for you and you either find them or they find you. Thinking about how Cas and I met I giggle slightly knowing how nervous I was about flying but he helped me and then me falling asleep on him calming him down for his meeting that just so happened to be with my Uncle Felix. This is a very good feeling. We walk into the village and he gives me his smile and I think he knows I just melt, and stroke his arm as we walk to the village market, having a look at what the owners have made, I see one has made some dream catchers it's beautiful, the different colours and the feathers intertwined in the strings, it was lovely so I hand over twenty Guyanese dollars to the man and I would add it to my room. The man bags it up for me and wraps it in a brown paper before putting it in the bag, I give him a small smile and thank him. I turn and see Cas waiting for me at the end of the stalls with 2 cups in his hands, I give him a little wave and walk up to him and as if on cue he gives me that smile again as he hands over a cup,

"Hey I got us some coffee hope you don't mind?" He says smiling away,

"That's fine was just about to suggest getting a coffee"

"That's great oh look there's a bench over there let's have a seat" as we both walk over to the bench and take a seat.

"Right seeing as I told you all about me, why don't you tell me abit more about yourself Cas?"

"Well, what do you wanna know?"

"What's your family like?"

"Well I'm the eldest of 4, I have 2 brothers and a sister, my parents are lovely when they can be. My siblings and I are all very close, soon as I went into the gold mining business my brother joined me he deals with the actual work where as I'm more behind the scenes now, my other brother works with my dad and my sister is at college at the moment"

"Oh wow! How old are they if you don't mind me asking?"

"Right I'll start with myself, I'm 27, my brother Jasper is 25, my other brother David is 21 and my little sister Maya is 19"

"So your 27? You don't look it, I thought you was at least 25" I said giggling.

"Oh really? Checking me out huh?" Giving me another smile,

"Maybe but that's for me to know and you to never find out" I said with a sly smile, I might've just kinda admitted to checking him out but he doesn't need to know that, although those eyes I could get lost in them and those lips are just so soft, and I do kinda wanna run my hands all over that body, Stop it Zara, stop thinking those things. 

"So what else do you want to know about me, Zara?"

"Erm, where abouts do you live?"

"I live in New York, what about you?"

"Oh I live in Mountain Lakes kinda close to the city but far enough away to get some peace and quiet" taking a sip of my coffee. As much as the heat was abit too much, the coffee was just delicious the freshness and the bitter taste hitting my tongue, the warm liquid rushing down my throat to cool me down worked it's magic on me.

"Oh that's nice, I do have a place outside the city too but I don't really go there that often, maybe when we're back you can come and visit me? Maybe?" Giving me the puppy dog eyes, and right there I melt into him and lean towards him and give him a kiss on the cheek, and whisper,

"Yeah I would like that very much" as I pull away blushing from how open I just was, I was very surprised about my actions too. I've never been so upfront to anyone. He turns to me cupping my face in his big hands, and pulls my face towards his wanting lips pulling me in, as I saviour every touch and taste of him he pokes his tongue out awaiting my mouth to open to give him entrance and I do, our tongues dancing with eachother both hungry for more as we part. Both breathless from the kiss, we pull away taking a sip of our coffees.

"Want to see more of the village?"

"There's more? Thought this was it?"

"Of course there's more"

"Okay let's go" as we both stand he take his hand out and intertwine our fingers together this just feels so right, I wish I didn't have only a few more days left, I wonder how long Cas has?

"Hey Cas, when do you leave?"

"In a couple of days why?"

"Just wondering, I'm leaving in a few days too"

"Oh maybe we're on the same flight again" he laughed.
