Silence stretched on the other end of the line.
"Ms. Bennett, are you certain?"
"I am. I also want the agreement released to the public. Gather every original franchise agreement I negotiated, the messages between Caleb and Sienna, and the hotel hallway surveillance stills from the wedding night. Preserve every original, document the chain of custody, and have the digital files authenticated by an independent expert."
Laura's voice tightened.
"Ms. Bennett, think carefully. Once this agreement goes public, Lawson Group will be finished. Caleb and Sienna will never recover."
I smiled faintly.
"Attorney Collins, that's exactly what I want."
The following afternoon, I followed the location pin Sienna had sent and arrived at a media studio.
The moment I walked in, Sienna and Caleb spotted me. A smug look passed between them.
Caleb's assistant approached with a makeup case and gestured for me to sit.
I refused.
"I didn't come here to look good on camera."
Across the dressing room, Sienna caught my eye in the mirror and smirked.
The livestream was about to begin.
Two chairs flanked a small round table. Warm lighting softened the set, and the media company's logo hung on the wall.
The host was a woman in her 30s with short hair and a brisk, practiced delivery. She showed me to one chair, sat across from me, crossed her legs, and raised the microphone.
Every camera turned toward me.
"Ms. Bennett, we understand that you came today to explain what happened at yesterday's ceremony."
She tilted her head. Her voice was deliberately gentle.
"Do you admit that you staged yesterday's scene at the IPO bell-ringing ceremony?"
I leaned back without answering.
She leaned closer.
"Then let me be more direct. Are you prepared to admit on camera that you fabricated those accusations because you were jealous of Mrs. Lawson?"
She held my gaze and thrust the microphone so close that it nearly touched my chin.
"Ms. Bennett, please answer the question."
I let out a slow breath and sat upright.
"Before I answer, I would like everyone to see something."
The host blinked and glanced toward the control booth.
Every reporter behind the cameras focused on me.
In the corner, Sienna's smile stiffened.
Sienna had barely begun to rise when the large studio screen behind us lit up.
A collective gasp went through the studio.
