I had done everything humanly possible to get an internship with VPC .
Plus Caleb told me he knew the owner personally and followed them up with my applications but I never got back from them, and in just less than 20 minutes they replied?? insane.
Since I went to school Monday to Thursdays, I worked Friday and Saturdays with them and I was to resume immediately.
I was already having a terrible morning today. I woke up late, spilled coffee on my shirt, had to change it, missed the bus twice and by the time I got there I was sweaty and tired.
Had to stand outside for a while to rearrange myself and calm myself down.
I went to the secretary's office and introduced myself, she seemed very excited to see me and told me that my CV was outstanding, which was crazy because these people have never gotten back to me.
She kept on complimenting me for my work and everything and told me that the CEO would like to meet me personally.
Had to start bracing myself mentally. I heard the company had two CEO's , it was some complicated story that I really wasn't interested in hearing.
After a while of waiting, I was called into his office.
"Hello Miss Rose, pleasure to see you", he said as he stretched his hands to me.
I took it with both hands, "The honour is mine sir".
"Take a seat", it was Charlie Brown, the CEO", we talked for a while, a very long while actually and he kept complimenting my work and all and I was extremely grateful for everything.
I almost mentioned that I applied a million times but didn't get a response but I'll leave that for another day.
He asked me to go and meet the secretary and she'll fill me In on everything.
I thanked him and stood up to leave when the door opened.
"Oh Vincent, It's Anna Rose, the intern you approved of the other day", Charlie said.
My heart literally left my body, hit the roof and came back, I almost physically jumped.
Vincent??
As in Vincent Louis??
As in Caleb's Dad as in the man that f****d me to tears a few days ago??
He gave me a warm smile.
"Hello Miss Rose, pleasure to meet you".
"Miss Rose this is Vincent Louis, the founder of the company, he is also the one that reviewed your application, said he's never seen something like this".
All the while they spoke my head was just spinning.
Caleb's Dad is a founder?
Caleb's Dad was the founder and Caleb didn't tell me??
"Pleasure to meet you too sir, I applied severally for this, I'm surprised I even got in", I said.
"I doubt you've ever seen your application", he said.
Does that mean Caleb lied? he never even applied for it for me?
Damn.
I gave him a small smile and then walked pass him and then finally started breathing normally.
Okay how am I supposed to survive here when the first man to make me squirt multiple times is in the same office with me?
I went back to the secretary's office.
Her name is Hannah and she's so nice.
She even gave me an office, since today was my first day she just took me round to see everyone.
Then later on a couple of things were given to me to start up with and I diligently did everything while I spent the whole day thinking about Caleb's Dad, that man hasn't left my mind for days.
Sometimes I touch myself to the thought of him and here I was thinking this internship was an opportunity to take my mind away from it.
Around closing time, I started packing my things to leave when someone very familiar walked pass my office.
"Caleb?", I called, hoping he wasn't the one.
He walked back and then came into my office, he looked so stunned to see me.
"Oh Hey Anna, what are you doing here?",he asked casually.
I started boiling.
"What am I doing here?? I intern here, you know, the same place I begged you to help me submit applications to after you told me you knew someone here, Caleb your Dad is a founder! you knew about this and kept me under your tips like a puppet!".
"Hey Relax okay? didn't just think you had what it is to intern here, besides only top writers work here ".
"Well I got the internship without your help, your Dad approved it".
"Na he just probably did that out of pity or something, trust me you don't fit in here".
My Anger just kept on rising.
"Aren't you going to apologize? for the way your treated me last time?".
He chuckled, "Apologize for having the best time of my life? c'mon now Anna, you know you can't f**k like that, I needed to get my desires satisfied, I still love you come on ", he sent trying to touch my cheek.
I shrugged his hands off, "Don't touch me, I don't love you anymore, it's over between us, I ended it since then ".
He scoffed, "You're insane to think you can break up with me, do you know who I am? you know I can take away this little office you've got here? don't push me", he said grabbing my arm angrily.
"Let go of me, it's over, it's over I hate you!", I said angrily.
"What's going on here?", Vincent asked coming to the entrance.
Caleb suddenly released me.
He turned to him, "Just having a word with my girlfriend ", he said.
"I'm not your girlfriend, we're done", I stated that clearly.
"You're crazy to think of that ", he said.
"Well uhm, I don't think Relationship issues should be dealt with during work hours so Caleb please leave ", Vincent said, saving me.
Caleb looked at me one last time and then walked out.
I held the place he gripped me, it was burning red.
"Are you okay?", he asked walking towards me.
"He just, roughed me up a little, I'm fine", I said.
He took my hand and then rubbed it gently.
I avoided eye contacts with him because I would squirt if I did.
I finally looked up at him and my heart started beating rapidly fast. He was looking at me the same way he did when he f****d me.
"Mr Louis, you have a visitor ", Hannah said at the entrance.
He let my hand go and I came back to my senses.
"Get her to the medic", he said and then walked out.
I swallowed hard and then let out a sigh of relief.
