After discussing all the details of Maya's date like whether see looked okay? She did, whether she put too much makeup on? It was just right sounds like porridge, you know Goldilocks and the three bears and whether her dress was suitable? It was, it wasn't too short neither was it too long, it showed off her figure, I went forward with my morning routine which consisted of taking my morning shower, brushing my teeth, eating something 'healthy' for breakfast, Naa! And not forgetting taming my unruly hair, though it's probably not in that exact order.
After finishing almost everything in my normal weekend morning/afternoon routine (I did everything except eating breakfast) I've already decided that I'm going to stay in my comfy PJs all day, since I'm not planning on going anywhere.
Just as I reached the last step of stairs (I decided to go downstairs and eat something after all) there was a light ding of the doorbell, seeming as I was already downstairs I went to the door and opened it, to say what I saw surprised me is an understatement, I saw the most self-absorbed man-child ever in West Haven College dressed in a white button up shirt and black jeans looking quite dapper and he was holding a bouquet of pink roses, aww!
"Maya, babe" he said leaning in, I instantly knew what he was doing, he thinks I'm Maya and is trying to kiss me? Na ah! I spun around ending up behind him, I hit his pressure point on his back, which resulted in getting him to involuntarily kneel on the ground, and I then held him in a paralysis choke hold with one of my arms around his neck and the other behind his head
"Now tell me one good reason why I shouldn't just break your neck right here, right now" I whispered into his ear.
"Because I'm your date tonight?" Kane spoke with a high pitch noise obviously scared, please! I'm not that cruel, I wasn't actually going to snap his neck
"Nope" I replied
"What?"
"I'm not your date for tonight, Maya is"
"Exactly you are"
"No, I'm Mia" I said releasing him from the choke hold, he inhaled deeply just after I released him
"But you look exactly alike"
"Well, colour me surprised!" I said sarcastically "of course we look alike, you i***t, we're identical twins, as in we look the same"
"Ahh!"
"And anyways if you used your pea sized brain for at least a minute and not think with your... manhood, you might have noticed that I am wearing pyjamas" I gestured to my current outfit, which was a purple short sleeved top and purple checkered shorts "Something you don't wear to a date, next I have long, black, curly hair, Maya has medium, brown, straight hair and lastly I have dark brown nearly black iris/eyes, Maya has brown"
"Oh yeah!"
I slapped myself on the forehead why was Maya going out with this dumb jock again? "Look I will tell you this once and once only so you better listen up" I told him slightly raising my voice this is a serious matter we were going to discuss next and he better take it seriously "If you hurt Maya, intentionally or unintentionally I will personally hunt you down and make your life a living hell" he gulped at that, good!
"You know for a geek, you're quite hot, especially without your glasses and clothes that are too big for you"
"I'm going to ignore you now since you're annoying me already" I said facing Kane I then aimed my voice upstairs and shouted "Maya, the jerk is here, I mean your date's here" And with that I turned away and walked into the kitchen
"You sway that sexy butt of yours, girl!" Kane shouted back at me as I was going to the kitchen, I really wish I snapped his neck now!
Moments later I heard Maya descending down the stairs, I went back to the living room to wish my little sister good luck (she'll need it) she then along with Kane left.
Hmm what to do? What to do? Maya's left and my parents aren't here (big surprise) note the sarcasm! Hmm I think I might go back to sleep or go to the training room and exercise for a couple of hours, what else can I do?

Kane was so sweet he brought me some roses that smelled great, he behaved like the perfect gentleman till we got to Chez Blanc a 5 star restaurant on the border of West Haven, we then patiently waited for the waiter to seat us at our table, and then we got talking, well he did...
"... And then I was just bouncing the ball, I bypassed at least 3 or 4 players, there was only a couple of seconds left on the clock, many people thought I couldn't make the shot, but I still went for it and I scored the winning point that put my team at 1st place in the league, where we belong" he said this was probably the 5th story he told me about himself the 1st was when he was in primary playing a 5 aside match, 2nd was playing dodge ball, 3rd playing a football match at secondary 4th rounders and 5th basketball at college!
Urgh! Mia was right, this is mind numbingly boring, I couldn't help but notice the amount of times he said the word 'I' in every single story, I'm beginning to think that he's not much of a team player, ironic since all the sports he plays are team sports. I smiled and nodded every time he spoke I wasn't really paying much attention to him, I know that makes me sound like one of them shallow bitches I hate, but I've been here for a hour and a half and all we've talked about (well mostly him) was about him, his interests, his skills his everything to sum up we've been talking about him this was too infuriating. I started to tune back in to what Kane was saying, oh God! He's starting another story, God if you're listening right now please help! And like that God answered my prayers with a phone call from none other than the firm believer in Christianity herself, my sister, Mia! I told Kane that I had to take this call and slipped outside
"Hey, I just thought I might check up on you, get some deets about the date" she said, I could hear her workout music blasting in the background, obviously she was in the training room
"Hi, it was no problem, the date was going pretty well" I replied
"Was? Do tell little sister what's going on?" she said trying to hold the laughter in
"You know very well"
"I have no idea as to what you're talking about!"
"Yeah right, I can hear you sniggering"
"Fine! Look I was just checking up on you, I just had this feeling that you were bored out of you mind, but if you're not then I'll go back to my workout session"
"NO!"
"Hahaha that bad huh? Well I still have to go since like you're on a date and well we can't keep him waiting, he'll have no one to talk about the 'wonderful things HE's done'"
"Bye then" I said with a sigh, reluctantly I went back to the restaurant the rest of the date went in a blur at the last minute he wanted to know about me, jerk! So I told him a very, very, brief story.
At the end of the date I was expecting Kane to pay since like that's what happens on dates right? Well not this one he paid for his half and I paid for mine, luckily I hardly ate anything, after that Kane took me home and walked me to the front door, I know he expected a kiss or something from me but this was the most boring date I ever had.
"So I had a great night!" I lied fluently
"Yeah me too" of course you did you were only talking about yourself!
"Well anyway I better get going"
"Okay well bye" he leaned in to kiss my lips but I had other ideas I turned my head so he got my cheeks instead
"Bye" I replied and with that I went inside the house, there I saw a smiling Mia, just ready to find out all the details about the date
