“So, what happened?” Adam asked.
Charlie pointed his glass at Adam. “Now that's the million-dollar question. My family and I have been trying to figure it out for out these last few months. He just doesn’t know how to let things go. When something makes him angry, he just holds it all in until those slights blind him from noticing anything else.” Charlie let out a sigh. “He thinks everybody is against him, so he acts shitty. Acting shitty makes people confront him, which makes him think everybody is even more against him. It’s a vicious cycle. Combine that with a growing addiction to magic, and we end up with the shitstorm that is Brad right now.”
“He’s family, though. I can’t imagine he’d do anything to really hurt your mom and brothers.”
