"Ava, stay close." Liam shielded Ava, his eyes scanning the darkness. "Emily, stay behind me," Liam whispered. Ava's heart pounded. "What's happening?" Ava asked. Liam's voice firm. "I don't know, but we're getting out." Suddenly, a figure emerged. Edward's sinister smile. "You'll never expose me." Liam's protectiveness kicked in. "Ava, run!" Liam shouted. Ava received a chilling message: "Emily's in danger." Ava's heart skipped a beat. "Liam, Emily's—" Liam's face darkened. "We'll protect her." Will they save Emily? Or will Edward's web of deceit ensnare them? Ava's hands trembled as she showed Liam the message. "Emily's in danger," Ava whispered. Liam's face darkened. "We'll protect her," Liam vowed. Alex, a former marine, greeted them. "You're safe here," Alex assured. But as they settled in. Ava's anxiety grew. "What if Edward finds us?" Ava asked. Liam's arms enveloped her. "We'll keep you and Emily safe." Emily, sensing tension, clung to Liam. "Daddy, I'm scared." Liam's voice soothed. "I'm here, baby. You're safe." As night fell, the group strategized. Ryan reported on Edward's operations. Liam's determination hardened. "We'll take him down." But Ava's fears lingered. Was Emily truly safe? Would Edward stop at nothing? As night fell, the group strategized. Ryan reported on Edward's operations. "We've tracked several shell companies," Ryan said. Liam's eyes narrowed. "Money laundering?" Ryan nodded. "Edward's using his empire to fund illicit activities." Ava's face paled. "We have to stop him." Liam's determination hardened. "We will." Alex spoke up. "I've secured the perimeter. We're safe for now." Emily, exhausted, slept in Ava's arms. Liam's gaze softened. "We'll protect her." Ava smiled weakly. "Thank you." But as they settled in. A strange noise echoed outside. Liam's head snapped up. "What was that?" Liam whispered. Alex drew his gun. "I'll check." Ryan followed, eyes scanning the darkness. Liam's heart pounded. "Ava, stay here." Ava's grip on Emily tightened. "I won't leave." Suddenly, Alex burst in. "We've been breached!" Alex shouted. Liam's face darkened. "Get Emily to safety!" Ava rushed to obey. But as they fled. Edward's voice echoed. "You'll never escape."
