The First Hybrid

Confronting Elliott

    I spent most of the day sitting on the front porch trying to just pull my thoughts together.  I don't want to be responsible for others pain and suffering. Man. "Are you coming in to dinner?" Elliott asked as he stepped out. "I need to talk to you about something." I told him making him stop. "What about?" He asked. "Eric" I one word answered him. "Okay. How about we go in together and have dinner. After we can go to my office and talk out whatever you want to talk about." He suggested as he looked down at me with his hand out. "Okay" I answered as I took his hand. Leading me back inside we took our seats at the table. Thomas and Eric both hugged me and kissed my temples. The older man started around with the cart. Slowly he made his way around. "Blood or food princess?" He asked me. "Both please." I answered. He set a plate in front of me before handing me a glass of blood. I chugged the blood and set my empty glass down before he got the rest of the way around the table. Elliott nodded at me. Once everyone was served we started eating. Dinner was kind of awkward and silent. "Honey I have to have a conversation with Angie after dinner. Take one of the feeders to bed with you to have your way with." Elliott told Katherine quietly. She smiled widely at him before nodding to him.

    "Sir, there are intruders trying to enter the gate forcefully." A young vampire girl gasped as she approached Elliott. Elliott looked at me knowing I heard. Nodding at me I understood he wanted me and the girls to handle it with him. "Girls let's go" I commanded. They stood and followed me with out hesitation. Walking in front of Elliott we were making sure nothing happened to him. "What do you want?" Elliott yelled as the group settled. There were only ten of them but they are vampires. I mind linked the girls. -Stand guard.They are not guests.- I told them. -Yes Alpha- they responded together. "We want to take your castle by force." One yelled. I felt my hybrid trying to surface to take them out. Fighting her back I waited for a signal from Elliott. I know what is expected from us and we are to wait for his word. Standing strongly behind him we waited. "That's not going to happen. You'll be going toward your own death." Elliott responded with a chuckle. He knew as soon as we are given permission we'd kill them all. Elliott chuckled. "You really think three little girls are going to take us all on?" The leader I assume egged on. "Yes as a matter of fact I do." He added. One by one the vampires jumped the gate. Elliott stayed in his spot knowing we'd protect him.

     One tried to get closer to Elliott and I pushed him in the chest sending him into the gate off his feet. He tried to stand back up but was having a hard time. "Like I said they'll wipe the floor with you all." Elliott spoke as he clapped at what I did. "We'll see about that." The leader replied as he and his lot started at us. "Kill them all girls and bring me their fangs." Elliott ordered. As if on cue the three of us shifted into our hybrids. With claws out we started swiping and clawing at these vampires sending them flying everywhere. Grabbing one I pulled him to me and drained him dry before ripping out his heart. It was like I blacked out after that. I have no idea what happened other than the three of us were covered in blood from head to toe and my hand was full of fangs. Nakedly the three of us went to the house mindlessly walking to Elliott who was waiting for us along with our mates. One by one we handed him the fangs. "Good job ladies. I knew I could count on the three of you." He said happily as he gripped the fangs we gave him. "Get some help in clearing the bodies. Burn them to ash." Elliott ordered someone. I still felt in a daze. Thomas went to come to me and I hissed at him catching myself off guard. I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around me pulling me close. "It's okay little one I got you." His soothing voice spoke in my ear calming me instantly. For some reason I wanted to attack Thomas and drink from him.

    "Hey she's ours." Eric growled. "She may be mated to you for now but she belongs to me." My mate yelled causing the room to gasp in shock. "So this was your plan for these girls brother? Make them like me so they'd kill for you on command. That's why you wanted them mated to your sons so you could control them?" He stated as a question. "Wait she's your mate?" Elliott asked in disbelief. "Yes she is. You are going to release her from your son and let her be mine!" He yelled. I am too weak to say anything. Shifting like that made me very weak. Casey and Elizabeth had left with their mates while I stood there between mine in the arms of my soulmate. "Why would I do that?" Elliott asked. "Dad I'm gay and you know that. Thomas has found his true mate and no one here is happy with this arrangement anymore." Eric spoke up for the first time. I heard some yelling. A whole bunch of yelling actually. Feeling and smelling him, I knew Greg was brought in. Having no idea what was happening I was in and out of it. All the sudden there were more gasps followed by an unimaginable pain in my neck. I passed out feeling myself be picked up by a pair of arms. "Stay with me love. I got you. Stay with me." A voice whispered as I fell into a deep sleep. I don't know what happened. That pain was the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. What was that? Letting sleep take me over, not that I had a choice I relaxed in Edwards arms.
