An age-old question is one that confounds generations, and this one has me completely stumped. What do I wear tonight?
If I were going to work, I would wear my uniform. If I was just hanging out with my coworkers, I would wear a t-shirt, jeans, and a jacket or hoodie. If I were going on a date with a cute guy, I would wear a cute little black dress, and I only have two of those.
This is different.
Nathaniel is a co-worker, and he's from work. Also, objectively, he's handsome. I hated to admit it, but something about that pesky bloodsucker definitely intrigued me. He was good at his work, which I liked, and he did have a code he lived by, even if he broke the law from time to time.
I spend a few minutes too long in the burning hot shower questioning all of my life choices
