CHAPTER FOUR
Ann Watkins went through the rest of her shift in a stupor, worrying about who had been spying on her while she f****d Frank Thomas. Each time she passed a doctor or another nurse, she guiltily averted her eyes and rushed past, convinced all of them knew what had gone on.
Her last job for the day was to straighten things in a room a patient had just been discharged from. She was just finishing when she heard the door open and shut behind her. Turning, she saw Doctor Andy Walker locking the door. She smiled at him uncertainly as he casually leaned against the door and eyed her coolly. He was the youngest doctor on the hospital staff at thirty-one and most of the nurses had the hots for him. He never seemed to pay any attention to them though, and Ann had long ago decided not
