CHAPTER SIX Ann had been standing in front of the head nurse's desk like a school child being admonished by the principal, while the severe woman chastised her for her stupid and unprofessional behavior. She was just grateful that Nurse Miller obviously didn't know about the other patients she'd f****d or about Doctor Walker. She stood with her head bowed shamefully while the older woman berated her, and wondered when she would finally get around to telling her she was fired.
