The day was different from other working days one could feel it in the air. On a normal working day at the office the company wasn't decorated with beautiful ribbons and stuff in preparation for a party. "Legacy" is celebrating her anniversary and their extension in other states all thanks to Venice.

It's been a month but the transformation Venice has carried out could take a lesser person a more than a year. Everyone had an air of merriment people gathered in groups and chatted heartily and during the lunch break there were speculation and whispers on who will be people's date obviously you have to come with a date to the party. She had learnt from Stan that Venice usually comes with a non-staff which was a top model or a public figure she wondered who it will be this time. And it was fine and dandy with her didn't care anyways right? yes she didn't give a damn.

Anna who will be your date tonight Stan asked with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

I don't know if I will make be here tonight parties aren't really my thing. it was a white lie she had never been to a party before therefore didn't know if it was her thing or not but she couldn't exactly tell him that.

She merely shrugged her heavy shoulder.

Thinking about it she didn't even own a party dress and didn't want to see the girl Venice would come with she thought sourly on their way back home. Wishing they hadn't closed early today due to the party she wanted to work and fill her time not dwell on some party. She didn't own Venice was hardly his friend he had the right to go out with anyone he wanted to.

What was wrong with her? why did she look sullen or was it him. maybe she was her mom terribly poor baby. He checked the urge to take her in his arms and soothe her. Lauren called me he said his leads were coming up and by next month he would have something for us he hadn't wanted to tell her yet till they found something concrete but he figured the happiness she felt was worth it.

Really? eyes sparkling and mouth curving into a smile she mouthed with obvious joy. will I ever get to see my mama again? I would be so glad when that day emerges omy gosh mama she cried again touching his arms in the process.

Anna everything will be fine you will reunite with your mom.

Staring the conversation from her appreciation he asked are you excited for the party?

Hmm the whole office is buzzing with excitement.

I guess I am thinnest bit excited and it's not like am attending but don't you think it's wrong of me. My momma is out there probably in an unpleasant situation and here I am in a posh car enjoying myself eating healthy and having fun?
